Jax POV

We're now at the dining table, it was after the "Gather the Gloinks" adventure or whatever
After having a chatter with Gangle who was far away from my seat which is annoying, I just continued to eat, the food still taste normal here like in the real world, it's just their appearances or textures that are different
Just like what the old Kinger said, we don't need to eat, sleep, etc. but it does still feel good doing so
While eating, I noticed Pomni was still zoning out then there's Ragatha, who was feeling anxious about something but I'm sure it was about this newbie
By the looks of it, she wanted to talk with this kid
Ugh this is ridiculous
I stabbed my food with the fork then stood up from my seat
I took Zooble's arm first before going to Ragatha

"HEY! YOU BETTER BRING THAT BACK YOU #$@/&$#!" They screamed as I just chuckled then threw away their hand towards them, but they still failed to catch it which made me laugh
"$#@& you, you @$$HOLE!" again, they shouted as I just ignored them then went beside Ragatha
"Hey dollface" I said, she flinched
"JAX! you surprised me!" She exclaimed, Kinger also screamed, I just rolled my eyes
"Do you mind if we exchange seats? Because I don't like being with Zooble and... paranoid newbie" I lied then made her stood up
"Jax, don't call her that, that's just normal for-" she said but I cut her off by pushing her towards Pomni
"Yeah yeah whatever"
She looked confused at me, at first but just shrugged it off then proceeded to sit down on my seat
There, they should solve their damn problems

Ragatha's POV

I keep glancing at Pomni to make sure she was really fine for the day
I mean, of course I care because I also know the feeling, maybe everyone here knows
She's still having a hard time getting used to this and I really wanna help her so bad after her horrible first day
What should I do... she's so far away from my seat and I'm still not sure how I'm gonna talk to her
While thinking, I didn't notice that Jax was already beside me who snapped me back to reality
"Hey dollface" he said as I flinched
"JAX! you surprised me!" I exclaimed while glaring at him as he just rolled his eyes
Now what does he wants this time
"Do you mind if we exchange seats? Because I don't like being with Zooble and... paranoid newbie" he explained then made me stand up from my seat which made me surprised again, but the last part was insulting
"Jax, don't call her that, that's just normal for-" I tried to explain but he just pushed me towards his seat that was in the center of Pomni's and Zooble's
"Yeah yeah whatever"
I really don't like his ego, but is it really because of the people he don't like or is there other reasons why he wanted to exchange seats with ME?
Nvm, there's still someone who needs help
I shrugged it off then proceeded to sit down on Jax's seat
"Hey Pomni" I shyly greeted as she glanced at me, but still have no words to say
"I... I just wanted to know that... How were you doing?" I asked
"Oh so that was it? I-I'm fine!" She said but she doesn't look like it
"Really? But you don't look like it.. More like, you're... How should say this.. " I muttered
"Like a crazy paranoid" Zooble suddenly interrupted
"Zooble!" I exclaimed
"I'm just telling the truth, dear" they said as they continued to eat
I sighed then touched Pomni's hand
"Look, it's not your fault, you just arrived here, I even acted worse when I arrived here" I said, trying my best to cheer her up then remembering that time I newly arrived here when I tried to choke Caine, yelling at him to get me out of here
"Really?" She asked
"Yeah, what I'm trying to say is, even if we don't know why we're here, we must adapt ourselves to be mentally healthy. Just don't overthink stuffs where we can abstract if we reach our limit, got it?" I explained then she nodded
"I guess... we're obliged to do so" she replied
"Something like that" I happily said
We're still holding hands at the moment
"Thank you for helping me calm down Ragatha" she calmly said
Phew, I really am glad I can help
"No problem"

Jax's POV

Before sitting down, I'm still having a second thought to where should I really sit
Ragatha's seat seems boring
Hmmm
I glanced at Gangle who was having a hard time picking the fork
Nice view, welp, I chose Kinger's seat
I grinned then pushed Kinger towards Ragatha's seat then sat down on his seat
"Hey crybaby" I called as she was still shock of what I just did
"Jax, that was rude
Kinger? Are you okay?" She asked
"Ugh, he's fine alright, and always will be I'm sure of that" I annoyingly said
"Did I hear an insect collection?!" Kinger yelled, I just ignored him
"It's also the same as what you said about abstracted Kaufmo being fine, so I don't believe you" She sadly said
"Heh, whatever you say, crybaby" I commented, she then accidentally dropped the utensil she was holding
"Nooo!" She yelped
Pffftt

Then, she's trying to pick it up again
Oh how cute
"Seriously tho... I don't get your desire of wanting to eat, we don't even need it" I said in a serious tone
"Eating... makes me feel good" she answered while picking the fork
"Yeah, I can see that, we're same" I said then picked her fork
"Here" I said while giving her the fork, she was shock and confused at the same time
She then tried to take the fork but I purposely dropped it
"Oops, too slow that it slipped out of my hand" I playfully said
She just stared sadly at me
Her tragedy mask also annoys me at times..
"Aww what's with the look? Still wants some help? Here" I said then tied the fork with her hand
"Wha- I'm fine on my own, and you don't have to tie my hand with things..." She sadly said
"Whaaat, it's still easy to untie your hand with it, you're welcome" I proudly said
Yeah, I tied the fork with her hand in ribbon style, so.... it's still funny
