#8: Calm down, heat later

Jax POV

I really hate how they blame me on small things, even the things that I didn't even do!
I was about to walk away until..
"G-Gangle..? A-are you okay?" Pomni asked while trembling
"I had enough... I FINALLY HAD ENOUGH!" Gangle screamed as I flinched cuz it really hurts my ears
Pomni gasped as she ran back to us then hides behind Ragatha
We saw Gangle's half face started to abstract and she was also glitching
"What's going on?!!" Kinger screamed
"What a mess.." Zooble muttered
"G-Gangle, I need you to calm do-" Ragatha tried to ressure Gangle but she failed because Gangle started crying while screaming again
"YOU JUST WON'T STOP! I-I HAD ENOUGH! I WANNA GET OUT OF HERE RIGHT NOW!"
I gulped
No... Not Gangle.. She can't abstract.. Not her..
"Should we call Caine?" Kinger asked
Nobody even dares to come closer to her so I'll be the one instead to make sure she'll calm down
I can't risk losing another friend again... Specially her

I sighed then started approaching her
"Jax, what are you doing??" Ragatha asked, I just kneeled down in front of Gangle and hold both side of her face
This is really the most embarrassing thing I ever did, and I even can't believe I'm doing this
Gangle still kept on muttering about getting out of here
"GANGLE! CALM DOWN! I NEED YOU TO CALM DOWN!" I yelled and I was sure that my friends at the back were shock to see I'm doing this
"E-exit, I want to g-get out of here.." Gangle cried and her abstract part still won't get lost
"Just calm down if you really want to get out of here... Just stay sane...
We'll get out of here together someday.. And I'm sorry.." I whispered to her while gently wiping her face, making sure the others behind me won't hear
I'm not really sure of what I'm saying but in order to calm her down, I'll do anything..

Finally, she's starting to calm down as her abstracting part started to vanish
I took out her duplicate comedy mask from my pocket then let her wear it
I then helped her stood up which is unlikely me
WHAT AM I DOING! NOT IN FRONT OF OTHERS..

"Not bad" I stated, the others then gathered around to Gangle
"Wow... Jax, I-I really don't know what to say but.. Whatever you did, that was good... and amazing!" Ragatha exclaimed
"You're welcome" I replied
Only Gangle knows what I told her, and it's up to her if she'll share it to them or not..
"G-Gangle, are you okay n-now?" Pomni asked
"I'm fine now, don't worry ^w^" Gangle answered

While they were busy around Gangle, I quickly get out of there
Went to where our chambers are then entered my room and locked the door then ran towards my mirror
"That was stupid Jax! Whatever I just did... it was embarrassingly stupid!!" I yelled, talking to myself as I started to hyperventilate, staring to myself at the mirror as my eyes widened in shock
No no no, just calm down..
Shit, I can't calm down!

I started punching my chest really hard hoping it will help me calm down just like before
I really had no other choice but to show my other self INFRONT of them... for Gangle's sake..
Now Pomni's gonna take that as an advantage to get closer to me
I sighed then slowly sat down on the floor, holding my head with both of my hands while staring at the floor
I don't even wanna get out of here.. The real world was much worse than here.. Why did I even say that to her when I'm not even true to myself
Someone then suddenly knocked on my door
Ugh, couple of freaks
I stood up then went to my door and holding the doorknob
"Jax, are you there? Pomni and I noticed you were suddenly gone after the... incident
So we decided to find and check on you" Ragatha said
"Are you okay tho?" Pomni asked

Tsk.. here we go..
I opened my door with a fake smile on my face as always
"Ladies, come on, of course I'm okay, always will beee" I lied as I leaned closer towards them at the last part
"Right.. Then why were you suddenly went... poof?" Pomni asked as she crossed her arms
"Funny how you describe it, I plan to go back actually, I just grabbed these" I said as I showed them couple of centipedes in my hand
Their eyes widened in shock as they flinched
"JAX! GET THAT THING OFF OUR SIGHT, RIGHT NOW!" Ragatha freaked out
"Well why did you even helped Gangle??" Pomni asked
"Funny you asked, but I don't think 'help' isn't the right word, honey. I just did that because she was my favorite thing to make fun of, obviously~" I cooed and it's only a joke..

Both of them stared at me in disbelief
"I can't believe you.. Jax.." Ragatha muttered
"As if you ever did, am I right dollface?" I asked as I crossed my arms
We started to glare at each other while Pomni noticed that we're gonna fight
"Change now Jax, before it's too late!" Ragatha yelled as she also crossed her arms
"What if I never wanna? What you gonna do about it huh?"
"Uh... guys.." Pomni tried to stop us
"What were you doing are horrible, so you need to stop it right here, right now!" Ragatha yelled
"It's called FUN, dolly. My FUN are harmless!"

"WHAT HAPPENED TO GANGLE ISN'T FUN!"

"THAT'S BECAUSE IT WAS NOT MY DOING!"

"THROWING KNIVES AT ME ARE HARMLESS??"

"IT IS, BECAUSE YOU'RE STILL FINE AT THE END"

"YOU'RE A STUPID COWARD!"

"@$#&# YOU!"

"OH YEAH? GO $#@&# ME YOURSELF YOU CO-" she yelled but she suddenly gasped, covering her mouth
Pomni was just watching us the whole time since she couldn't stop us as both of us were also shock
Ppffft... What..?
"What was that? Can you repeat that?" I asked, gesturing my hand to my ear that I wanna hear it again
"SHUT UP! I DIDN'T MEAN IT LIKE THAT! I JUST SAID THAT AT THE HEAT OF THE MOMENT-"

"Oh excuse me! I didn't know you were in heat! That would explain a lot. Hehehehehe~" I laughed
Now I take this advantage to get them out of my sight cuz I don't wanna talk to anyone yet, right now
"NOOOOOOOO!!!" She whined as she was now a blushing mess
Heh, how does that feel to be embarrassed?
I bent over to her height
"Tell you what dollface.." I trailed
"How about I visit you tonight in your room and we blow off some steam?~" I added, she flinched as I heard Pomni gasped
"SHUT UP SHADAP SHADAP SHADAP SHADAP!!" Ragatha screeched, covering her face while running away as I laughed so hard about that, leaving me and Pomni behind

I stopped laughing then looked at her
"Do you want me to go in your room tonight instead?~" I teased as she cringed then ran off as well
That's more like it
I finally have space for my own now..
