#5: Opinions about Jax

3rd Person's POV

Weeks later...
Pomni is slowly getting used to the Circus and with everyone except for Jax
She doesn't hang out with him that much because of the opinions of her friends about him
They're done on their another adventure again so they all went on their separate ways
Since Pomni already know all about his friends, her plan now is to get to know Jax more by talking to him without everyone noticing
But she couldn't find Jax yet so she decided to ask her friends one by one about him
"Um Ragatha?" Pomni asked as she found Ragatha who was with Zooble
"Yes dear? What can I do for you?" Ragatha kindly asked
"How much do you know about Jax? Because I wanna know him" Pomni said
"We don't talk about him and he's already obvious" Zooble answered
"Well... The only fun he knows are pranks which can hurt people sometimes but they doesn't hurt at all, he's annoying, jerk, bully as what Gangle described him... But I'm sure he's really kind in the inside, maybe he's just too shy to show it" Ragatha answered
"I see"
"Don't get your hopes up too much" Zooble added
"Come on now Zooble, you're also a complicated one, you two kind of-" Ragatha said but she suddenly got interrupted by Zooble
"Don't u dare say we're similar, we are completely different"
The two started arguing with each other while Pomni already left to find another person who she'll gonna ask

While walking, there she saw Gangle doodling something on the floor
"Hey Gangle" Pomni greeted as Gangle greeted her back
"Hi Pomni!"
"What are you up to?" Pomni asked while peaking behind Gangle to see what she's drawing
She was surprised to see that Gangle was drawing her
"Oh, I'm drawing you, since I haven't done any drawings about you tho, so this is the first one
I hope you like it" Gangle shyly answered
Pomni clapped her hands to show that she really liked it and it was cute "of course I like it Gangle, it's... me, your drawings are cute!"
"Awww thank you!" Gangle exclaimed as she then faced Pomni
"Actually, I have a question to ask if that's okay for you?" Pomni said
"Sure, what is it?"
"How much do you know about Jax?"
Gangle then thought for a while
"It's okay if you can't answer, I understand, since he bullies you alot-"
"No no, it's fine, I can answer since you wanted to know him as well"
"Thank you Gangle!" Pomni exclaimed as she sat down beside her

"He's... complicated"
Pomni was actually confused by her answer
"He's mean and kind at the same time... I'm not really sure about his real personality, it's like he has two split personality or something but it's just my opinion..."
"There was this time that... I should've listened to him for the first time.." Gangle trailed
"Then.. what happened?" Pomni asked, wanted to know more
"It was the day before Kaufmo abstracted in the next day
He warned me about not hanging out with Kaufmo anymore because I'll just make the things worse even tho I just wanted to help
He was right about making the things worse because when I was drawing with Kaufmo, he started to draw weird drawings.. scary ones to be exact, he then grabbed me harshly and asked me some scary jokes.. But when I snapped at him and told him that he was scaring me, he stopped then got mad at me about not laughing to his jokes anymore then left." Gangle then stopped
"So... Kaufmo was scary?" Pomni asked
"It was only the time when he started to get weird that it's like he's almost on his breaking point which he did on the next day" Gangle answered as she started telling some stories again

"Oh, and there was this time where me and Jax are... dancing.."
Pomni started to get curious so she started listening close
"We were dancing where no one's watching us, we were really happy, like I've felt so much peace on the inside, but then... he suddenly pushed me aside that my comedy mask got broken on the floor, that's when Kinger suddenly yelled from behind then helped me got up. I don't know what was wrong that he suddenly got mad, I tried to apologize to him but.... *sigh*
I'm not really sure if he was really happy that time or he was purposely faking all of it to make fun of me again" Gangle then finished
"Oh... That's really sad..." Pomni muttered trying to cheer her up
"Jax, I really think you're hiding something because of those weird acts of yours, now the last person I'm gonna ask is Kinger, I hope he'll answer well" Pomni thought
"Well, still thank you for telling me all of those... yknow hehe
I gotta go now, take care" Pomni said then started walking off
"No problem, you too!" Gangle exclaimed from behind

Minutes later, Pomni finally found Kinger who's just peaking out from the inside of his impenetrable fortress
"Oh hi Kinger" Pomni greeted
"Oh hey Pomni, are you here to talk about my insect collection?" Kinger asked
"Well not really-"
"Oh, are you not safe? Do you wanna come inside my impenetrable fortress?"
"Um.. sure"
"Great!"
Kinger exclaimed then suddenly grabbed Pomni inside which she flinched a bit cuz she doesn't like being touch
The two of them sat down in the inside, and the inside was not that small
"So... I'm here to talk about Jax..
How much do you know him?" Pomni asked
"It would be also perfect since he's said to be the oldest one here.." Pomni thought

"Jax? Well.. He's Jax" Kinger answered
"Uh huh.. "
"But he's scared about something" He added
"What is it?"
"Not sure, but it was something not showing what he really feels"
"Wait... kinda familiar.." Pomni thought and asked "what do you mean?"
"There was this time where I saw him and Gangle dancing in the middle of the stage..."
"I knew it!" Pomni thought
"Jax suddenly stopped the moment he saw me..

*Jax pushed Gangle aside saying " Oops" and I was really shock to see that, that I screamed out his name "JAX!", I know that he pushed her on purpose
"Gangle fell.." I muttered
"I know, Kinger, obviously. Ugh, I'm leaving" Jax grumbled while started to walk off
I just helped Gangle get up
"I'm sorry for ruining the dance, Jax.. " Gangle apologized
"I don't mind, it's just a dance.." Jax said

And that's all I remember, but he sees us as friends tho, that's what I know" Kinger explained as Pomni starting to get it all
"Oh I see, thank you for telling me Kinger" Pomni thanked him while starting to leave
"And oh, Pomni" Kinger added that made Pomni stop to go out and looked at him
"Well... Caine really hides a lot of things but be more careful around Jax" Kinger told him as Pomni just nodded

Meanwhile, Jax is outside the tent, in the grass, sleeping.
