A.N hello people, I am currently out of inspiration. I am tutoring my niece and I don't know what to write but since my friends just keep on asking me to update so here it is. Don't expect much out of it, since I suppose it wont be up to the mark, yet, please, read/comment/vote and share the story! Thanks!

Myra

It was post seven o'clock when we reached Hyderabad. From there, it took us about half an hour to reach our hotel in Secunderabad. I am so glad to have been born in this age where we have 'internet' at our service. We didn't have to waste any of our time to find a hotel since we had already booked it online.

We entered our room and I mentally made a note that there are going to be new rooms every time we go to a new place. I didn't really liked new temporary rooms, but, since I got my job, I also got used to temporary rooms.

We were being monitored by Alsiha who was making sure we don't crash on the bed. She wanted us to get fresh as fast as possible so we just washed our faces and combed our hair. She had a call from Jay, after which her mood had shifted but I didn't interrogate. If there was something to share she would have. Plus I felt it most suitable to stay out of Jay shit. Not that I did not worry about my friend but I just did not like him. Plus if she needed help I would be right there.

A part of me doesn't like what is happening with her. I don't like the fact that she is getting married, especially to the wrong guy. I don't like the fact that it is happening so soon. And I also don't like the fact that somewhere deep down I am to be blamed for this shit, and she doesn't even know about it. I want to tell her. I really want to confront her but how am I supposed to tell her this? She wont ever talk to me, she wont trust me. I will lose my best friend. How do I tell her something that will break us apart. This is wrong, I know. I need to tell her all of this soon before guilt takes over me completely. She shouldn't be marrying this guy. She should be living a happily ever after, but this is all my fault and I am ready to make up for it. I just need to find a way how.

I am brought back from my thoughts when Alisha hits me on the head. "Ouch," I scream.

"Come back from your dreamland and freshen up," she tells me. I started combing my hair. It is the toughest part. Having exceptionally curly hair is not easy, though they really look sexy. You wake up each day to a mess of knots, and it's a challenge to get rid of them but as tough as it is, the result is pretty good.

I was done focusing on my hair when my eyes landed on Zara. Seeing her so engrossed in her phone was unusual. "What's wrong?" I asked her.

"Nothing," she told.

"Really?"

"Yeah."

I walk towards her and tried snatching that phone from her hand but it wasn't that easy. Then that snatching of phone became a fierce war which was involving real fighting skills. It was just for the sake of fun but then I really wanted to know what this bitch has been hiding from a long time.

The four of us have been best friends since a long time but Zara and I have been closer. We have something different that makes us soulmates. So her different behavior since Alisha's engagement hasn't settled well in my eyes. I needed to know what she was up to.

"Leave that phone," I yelled at her.

"You leave my phone," she screamed back.

Vicky tried keeping us away but her harmless methods were not successful on us. Having no other choice left, Alisha had to enter the scene and pull my hair while dragging me on the other side of the room, while all I could say was "ouch, ouch, ouch", and so on.

She left me on one side of the bed. "Behave," she scolded me. "And you, what terrorist attack plans you have saved in your phone that you are trying to hide?"

"There's nothing," Zara said.

"Nothing?" alisha asked. "The both of you, the Myra and Zara, fought over that phone because of 'nothing'. That does not sit very well."

"There is personal... stuff.. in this," Zara stuttered.

"Personal?" Alisha raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, personal, you know," Zara said.

"Okay fine. Myra, let her be," she said and dismissed.

"You are buying that," I had to argue.

"Look, she might have some 'munchkin and pumpkin' sort of lovey-dovey stuff in that phone of hers which she must be embarrassed to reveal in front of us. She is young and also in love. Who can know about such things better than you," Alisha said.

"Munchkin and pumpkin? Those are the last names on our lists to call each other," Zara said making a face while Vicky laughed. "You guys are crazy," Zara joined them.

"I hope you guys don't use these nick-names," Alisha told me.

"Of course we don't because we have better versions of nick names," I said.

"Yeah! Frog-mouth and King Vulture," Zara said and everyone started to laugh out loud again and this time I had to join. Frog-mouth doesn't mean that I have a mouth that looks like a frog. It is simply a bird's name. Weird name for a bird, I know. And being the 'bird lovers' that we are, these are the best possible names we could come up with. So he is my 'Kv' and I am his 'Fm'. Cute isn't it? My girlfriends find it too cute to digest.

After our laughing session, which is the best possible exercise which keeps you healthy, Alisha pushed us out of the room. It was already dark outside and cold. Mumbai was really hot and humid but this place was really cold. We needed to acclimatize.

We got into the cab and Alisha gave the driver the directions. "So where are we going," I asked Alisha again.

"You'll see," she told me and then looked at her phone after which she addressed the driver, "Just around the corner, please."

And there we stopped, in front of a spooky looking cabin. Where the hell has she brought us. I thought that 'visiting a haunted place' was kicked out of the list. "I am not going there," I told knowing exactly that it was a haunted house for real.

"Oh, shut up," Alisha said. "Do you even know what that is?"

"It's a haunted house! I am not that stupid," I said.

"Don't you think it is too small for a haunted house," Vicky questions.

"Haunted cabin, whatever," I said rephrasing my previous line.

"It is not a haunted house," Alisha said.

"You sure," Zara said 'calmly' pointing at a skeleton walking out of the door. Oh my God! Oh my God! A skeleton! Walking out of that cabin! On its own! That was more than enough to make me loose my calm. My hands went on my ears and my eyes closed shut not wanting to see or hear whatever that is in front of me and I screamed. I screamed on top of my voice. I screamed until my voice became hoarse and my throat felt the need of water.

Suddenly, two more figures came out of the cabin and the lights flicked on. "What the hell is your matter," said the guy.

"Are you okay," said the girl standing with him, the skeleton still standing in between of them. Then a strange thing happened. the skeleton moved its skull off to reveal that it was just a boy. A boy who was wearing the dress of a skeleton. "You scared the hell out of me," said the kid.

"As if you didn't," is all I could manage trying to catch my breath. "What the fuck is this place?"

My question seemed to have gone unnoticed when Alisha stepped forward and said, "I am really sorry for this, we just wanted to check out costumes for rent. We want them for tomorrow's comic con."
