One more task was left. Just one more. We packed our bags and folded the mattress and the blanket. It's like 7 in the morning now. Most of the campers are up. Though, there's no specific grid for every camper, nor is this place too crowded, there are limited people and you don't feel alone. Yes I can't describe very well when I've just woken up.
It's a lot less cold now that the sun is rising.
We left with our bags on the road. The plan for now is to roam till the heat strokes start burning us up. Then take an afternoon nap and head out to airport at night. And we stuck to our plan. There is no such place as Ladakh if you want to be in a cold and beautiful place and with your friends.
We went to Pangong tso, Shanti Stupa, Leh palace, Hemis monastery, Nagmal Tsempo monastery, Hall of fame museum and a few more. Then we took a halt in a motel and grabbed some sleep. Woke up when it was dark and had our dinner and then left for the airport.
Alisha's phone kept on ringing while she kept on ignoring it. I'm sure it was Jay cause she won't ignore anyone that much. And his calling spree was justified since we had literally ran away.
We discovered a bruise on her forehead, she said that she slipped in the bathroom while she packed her stuff and landed on the corner of a drawer or so. I'm not sure if it actually happened or no, but I definitely do not buy it. Such 'accidents' around Jay are not really possible when he is right there to be accused.
So we had back to back flights from Delhi to chennai. From the port we got a cruise and headed to Andaman and Nicobar islands. We got fresh in the small luxurious cottage and went for exploring.
We obviously ended up in a beach side bar drinking some alcohol.
A while later when drinking seemed no more fun we headed to the beach. We were still stable and on our feet. It's hard to get drunk-drunk.
We then sat on the beach in front of an existing born fire. Maybe someone had abandoned it. The possibility of the people arriving here seemed to be nil since literally no one was out here.
"So I'm sure, we all know why we are here," Alisha asked. We all nodded with obvious grins.
"A day without technology," Myra said. "Sounds fun. Or... Not.. I can't click pictures, can I?"
"You can't," Zara said. "We've got enough pictures here today."
"But what if something amazing turns up?"
"It's still a no," I said.
"Oh come on! What if it's worth a picture," Myra argued.
"Sometimes you just need to get that lens off your eyes cause some pictures are worth being saved in your hearts and not on glossy papers. Their place is right in our heads, alive, and not frozen. A photograph can be torn, burnt, destroyed but the ones in your heart will last a lifetime." I said. Where does this come from? Dang, I'm good!
"Makes sense," Alisha said.
"I know right," I said. They all giggled.
"Fine, no pictures," Myra said.
"So in 15 minutes, our 24 hours start and from then on, no use of technology. Nobody is even going to the room, as far as possible. Let's just be sincere to our task," Zara said.
"Fair enough," Myra said. "But what if I have to pee?"A/N So yeah, a small chapter after a long time. I'm sorry! I'm just up with so much stuff..! Homework, classes, lectures, tests! So I'm exceptionally sorry for not having updated in all these days! Though expect an update by tonight or latest tomorrow morning! I know I'm late, but still, wish you all amazing people, a very happy New Year! God bless you all, and may this year be full of awesome surprises (and amazing books!) :D
Also sorry for the lame title! I can't think of anything. And we are almost at the end of the book! What do you think is going to happen in A Day Without Technology? Well, this one is going to be huge! So much to be written! I guess I should stop this note and finish writing that chapter! See ya!!
