TW: talks about a vote that recently happened over here. I'm trying to be impartial, but I'm not a racist and think that the vote should have won not lost, please don't report me. The vote stuff is in bold, you are welcome to skip it.

Australia has inhabitants 50,000 years before the British came. read it and weep, bitches. jk i love you all but this is a thing i am very passionate about. see, australia just had a referendum (a referendum is a vote that changes the constitution) we just had a referendum about an aboriginal voice to parliment. this basically helps abourigal communities in the desert or outback talk to parliment and tell them how they can help them. this voice lost, because of racists. i was very pro "the voice to parliment" austrlia has eight states and territories (map of them above) and only one state/territory had a over all "yes" vote. this territory is the smallest one in australia, with only 454,000 inhabitants out of the total australian 25.98 million. 91.3% of the ACT voted yes. That is all. thank you.

i don't know if you know

we have very specific gun rules in australia. VERY strict.

Gun laws in Australia are mainly within the jurisdiction of Australian states. In the last 20 years, several high-profile gun violence has been recorded. The federal government coordinated more restrictive firearms legislation with all state governments. Gun laws were largely aligned in 1996 by the National Firearms Agreement. Finally, Australia bans all semi-automatic rifles and pump-action shotguns.
