You, Billie and Finneas are being interviewed on your latest album collab named "The Memories". The host is Jimmy Fallon.
"Hi Jimmy!" Billie says happily as we sit down. I sit down on the couch next to Finneas as Billie sits on the one-person chair.
"It's so good to see you. I'm super curious about this album the three of you created." Jimmy responds.
"Ahh we're excited to tell you more." Billie says, smiling the whole time.
"Alright, let's talk music then. First of, this album is the best thing I've ever listened to. The album has been streamed over five billion times since the release three days ago!" Jimmy announces.
"Oh my god! That's unbelievable!" I shout, hugging Finneas and Billie while we're celebrating together.
When we've calmed down Jimmy goes further. "Now we can talk about the rest. Tell me more about how you came up with the idea for the album?" He asks.
I get to explain. "Originally, our idea was to put out a single with us singing together and Finneas doing the backing vocals. When we began writing that song all of us had so many ideas that we couldn't put them in just one song. That's when we decided to make an album."
"We were actually in the making of 'Heart On Fire', which is on the album, before our album idea came up." Billie adds.
"'Heart On Fire' is literally my personal favorite." Jimmy replies. "Really? Thanks." Finneas responds.
"Tell me more. How did you come up with the song ideas?" Billie and I let Finneas answer this one.
"We were at the studio, just listening to some tunes and the lyrics just came with the tunes. 'Heart On Fire' was one of our best songs on the album because it means a lot to all of us. We've all put some of our personal, like, 'feels' into it." Finneas explains.
"It's all so great. Personally, I thought 'Back On Track' was, like, something else. It's not what I'm used to from any of you." Jimmy admits.
"It's not what we are normally used to either. It's very different from what we've created before." Billie admits.
"We've literally explored music genres when we were in the making of 'Back On Track'." Finneas adds.
"We were all not expecting it to be honest." I finally say."I love how you all add up to each other." Jimmy says and we all laugh.
"We've definitely gotten to know each other even better while making the music. Maybe we've been spending too much time together." Billie jokes. "That's it right there. We've been together too much." I joke along.
"But honestly, we've been in the same studio together for three days straight when we were making the album. I think it's pretty fascinating how we haven't gotten crazy of each other." Finneas makes us all laugh.
"It's so wonderful to see the bond you have with each other. Every time the three of you are talking I just see all of you glowing. Literally lighting up. But that's for another time. Next question: "are you going to perform together anytime soon?"" We giggle.
"We can't say that. I'm only going to say we have talked about it. If you follow the news a little bit you'll know what we're up to in no time." I wink at the camera. Billie laughs at me.
"You're good in covering things up." She adds, grabbing my hand softly. I smile at her.
"Now, let's talk about the album title. Explain to me, why the title 'The Memories'?"
"It brought up memories. We were like, debating, on the title for so long." Finneas says.
"When you take a look at the songs on the album, separately, each one of them will remind you of a stage or event in your life where you felt happy or sad or something and it will bring up some memories. That's why." I explain.
"Wow, that's just so beautiful." Jimmy says. "Next up is the album cover. Beautiful cover, the three of you have outdone yourselves on this one."
"Thank you. The cover was maybe the most fun but also the most difficult thing about the album. We had to come to an agreement about what we wanted because each one of us had so many good ideas. Once we had settled on a few ideas we still had to figure out how to put it out there in the right way." Billie explains.
"Beautifully said. Let's talk video. Do you have any intention to make videoclips? For all songs? For a specific song?" I know we can't say anything but I want to reveal a little.
"Jimmy.. you know we can't say that." Billie pouts. "Oh come on.. for me?" We laugh. "And for the millions of people watching your show everyday." I comment.
''That might be true. My guess is you're definitely making a clip for 'Back On Track', 'Heart On Fire' and 'Down Memory Lane'. Because 'Heart On Fire' was the first song you were writing, 'Back On Track' I don't know why but I feel like you will make a clip and 'Down Memory Lane' because it's the lead track. When the show ends we can definitely talk about this. I have such a good idea for 'Down Memory Lane'.'' He gets totally excited and we are enjoying every minute of it.
''We will talk after we wrap this up.'' Billie assures him. ''Okay, let's wrap this up then.''
