Today is the big day- THE WORLD CUP FINAL OF 2023

I am so scared about today! i just want us to win, I mean we deserve to win right?
It might be Virat, Rohit's, Jadu's last world cup. I will miss them soo much! we are gonna!

I love cricket, it's my life! I am so nervous I haven't done anything properly for the past 2 days!

The big screen setup in our community is nice. I'm not gonna go thoo i don't like to be in crowds. My mom and dad are gonna go there. So it's just me for today!

I have been in front of the tv since 12'o clock. the game starts at 2!

Aussies won the toss and chose Feilding first. I look at the playing 11 and it's looking good! I go do a quick prayer and run back to the tv.

Ahh first ball! come on Shubh and Ro bhai get a nice start for us!!!!

*TIME SKIP*

ohhh no no no! how can he get out this soon!! Shubman Gill was that shot needed??
okay Vee bhai go get a century for me!!

AHH u had to say it! how many times did I tell you not to think of it? don't you know every time u think of this it won't happen. Can't keep your mouth shut, can you?

*TIME SKIP*

AHHhhhhhhhh I am soo frustrated. We got only 240!!? It's gonna be really hard. The bowling and fielding part should be perfect or else we will have to kiss the cup goodbye!

They did try really hard thoo! ALL THE BEST for the next half guys!!

Yarr how can u let that slip? Rahul bhai what are u doing? Why are u guys doing this??(when it slipped a few times and went for boundary)

It's over! We lost!?
I can't stop crying. It hurts even more to see the team. My tears won't stop seeing everyone sad and crying.

It's fine! they tired, they gave their best! Maybe next time.

"Don't worry boys, don't be sad! we are still proud of u!" I say it out loud with a sad smile!

Right when my sister calls from Germany! she just got married and now they are in Germany doing her higher studies.

T:" Hey! I saw the match, it's okay. We will get it next time. Don't worry."
S: "I know! we could have won if we fought harder. But it's over, they did what they can."

D: "Hey! what yar ur kl did like this? what kind of wicket keeping was that?"
T:"Ohh yeah, never expected this from him!!! "

That's it, they just struck a nerve there!!! ohh btw D is Deepak Choudary, my sister Trisha's husband! I love Kl Rahul soo they make fun of me; they don't mean it badly but just tease me

S: "ohh come on! if it wasn't him, we wouldn't even have that 240! and don't talk about his wicket keeping by just seeing one game. Everyone gave their best and everyone did some mistakes! That doesn't mean they are bad. Don't just see one match and comment on them! " i just burst out getting pissed by them.

T & D: Woah Woah calm down tiger we were just making fun of u! We know, okay go get some sleep now. Don't u have college tomorrow?

S: "No I don't and good night!!!!"

I cut the call and lay down on my bed.
"ughh if only we won!" and then again like waterfalls my tears run down my face!

As I keep thinking about the game, I slip into my dream land.

*NEXT DAY MORNING*

Ughh who that banging on my door! Can't mom and dad just walk in they won't let me lock the door anyways!

Why does every part of my body pain? Like I was hit by a running train or something??
