As soon as I get to Vee bhai's room I knock on the door, there he is 'The one and only Virat Kohli! If this was a normal day where I was in my body, I would have been on the floor fainted! I have seen him play in real stadium, shouting and cheering for him. Now I'm here standing this close to him. Oh God if this is a dream, please let me wake up after few minutes, so that I can see everyone!
"Oi? What are you dreaming about at this time of the day?" and that's when I realize I have been staring at him for a long time. "Oh, I-Uhm uh, n-nothing bhai, I was just thinking about something Sorry!" "Why are you stuttering, are you nervous?" just while he's asking me with a concerned look, Ishan came and said, "He's acting weird from the morning bhai, I think he is nervous about today."
Wait what is the thing about today? Why do they keep saying this. And they all look fine? Didn't we lose yesterday? I mean I don't want them to be sad and all, but they look like nothing happened. I'm happy that they are not as sad as yesterday, I mean I will cry if I see them sad for sure.
Again, as I got lost in my thoughts, someone shakes me hard. And that someone is none other than Ishan. "Are really okay Adhi?" Vee bhai asks again but this time with even more concerned eyes. "No, no I'm great bhai! What's the meeting about?" Now we are fully inside the room, and I look around to see the whole team. OMG! I think I'm going to faint! never in my whole damn life I thought I would be in the same room as the Indian cricket team, although this is not my body. I am for sure going to hell for being happy for this soul switch thing now. Thankfully no one notices me zoning out this time.
"Adhi!! What is wrong with you? You are really scaring me!" I think I spoke to soon. "Arey bhai I fine! I just thinking about today." Fact: I have no idea what today is!
"Don't be nervous Adhi, everything is fine. You will do great don't worry" Ro bhai comes and holds my shoulders! OH MY GOD!!! someone catch me I think I might faint! I just nod with a small smile. Although I am dancing and shouting inside my mind. "Ahh, such a Drama queen!" "Shut up! we literally grew up seeing these people. Meeting them is my dream. And this is like soo huge for me!"
"Look bhai, he's doing it again" Ishan complains about me to Ro bhai. "Ahh stop zoning out you idiot." "Not doing it on purpose"
"No Bhai, I'm fine. What's the meeting about?" I ask them with a reassuring smile. "Oh, it's about today's match" Ro bhai says and turn to everyone. I go in smiling like an idiot, I can't help it. It's too much to take in. I go and sit next to Kl Rahul "OMG I'm sitting next to KL RAHUL" If I was in my body, I would be crying like a baby right now. Out of happiness ofc. "Wait a min, What match? Didn't they play yesterday?" my consy bring me out of my internal fangirling moment. "Right! What's this about?" I turn to Ish and thought of asking but it would make him worry more. So, I didn't say a word and just listened to what they were discussing.
After the meeting we went to our rooms. We had to get ready and get going, God knows where! I immediately take Adhi's phone to call him and that's when I see the date.
"What? How the hell is this possible? What am I supposed to do now?" I immediately call Adhi and wait for him to pick up.
"What the hell is he doing?? Come on pick my Adhithya! Pick up, Pick up!" And for the next five minutes I try calling him, but he doesn't pick the call. Frustrated and confused I throw the phone on the bed and hold my head in both my hands because I might faint if I don't sit down now!
