Sam's POV:
As soon as I get to the conference room, I see the whole team there along with a lot of other people. I go stand next to Shubh bhai. "Couldn't we just stay up and rest? It's not like they want us to talk or anything!" I stand there silently. He raises an eyebrow at me and says, "What, no savage comment? You've been awfully silent since yesterday! Everything alright?"
I just shrug, thinking about what I should say. Ugh, Adhi, do you have to be the talkative one in the group?! "Just tired from yesterday's match, that's it," I respond. But then Ishan bhai joins in, "You, tired? I thought you never get tired!"
I don't know if he's worried or just teasing me. I stand there in utter silence. I'm an extreme introvert! I should be home studying right now, but instead, I'm stuck in Adhi's body for God knows how long! I guess I need to talk so no one gets offended or starts worrying about me. I need to make sure everyone believes I'm Adhi and that there's nothing wrong with me.
I take a deep breath and force a smile. "Yeah, well, even superheroes need to rest sometimes," I say, trying to sound like Adhi. Shubh bhai and Ishan bhai exchange glances, then laugh.
"Fair enough," Shubh bhai says, clapping me on the back.
Vee bhai also smiles at me. As they start talking about different stuff, Rahul bhai comes over and asks, "So, you think your girl would have seen it?"
I blink, confused. My girl? I didn't know Adhi had a girlfriend! Why does it hurt? I didn't even know him until yesterday, well, not personally at least. I just nod and say, "Definitely, she would never miss it!"
I get more confused when Rahul bhai looks amused and seems about to ask something, but we are called by the management. Saved by the bell! I have to ask Adhi about this.
I follow the team to the front of the room, where the management has set up a table with microphones. Ro bhai, our captain, takes a seat next to our coach, and they both prepare to answer questions from the press. The room is filled with reporters, cameras flashing as they take their seats.
Ro bhai starts speaking, his voice calm and confident. "Good morning, everyone. We're here to discuss our recent victory and the team's performance. We're incredibly proud of what we've achieved, and I'm happy to answer any questions you have."
A reporter raises her hand, and Rohit bhai nods to her. "Rohit, can you tell us what this win means for the team and for you personally?"
Ro bhai smiles. "This win means everything to us. It's a testament to our hard work, dedication, and the support of our fans. Personally, it's a dream come true. Leading this team to victory has been one of the proudest moments of my career."
Another reporter stands up. "Coach, what was the key to your success in this tournament?"Our coach leans forward, his expression serious. "The key to our success was teamwork and preparation. Every player gave their best, both on and off the field. We analyzed our opponents, adapted our strategies, and supported each other through every challenge. This victory is a collective effort."
