Sam's POV:

The flight was smooth, and before I knew it, we were descending into Mumbai. My eyes were glued to the window, taking in the sprawling city below—the crowded streets, the buildings stretching out as far as I could see, and the distant glimmer of the sea. There was something electric in the air, something that made my heart race a little faster with excitement.

As we stepped out of the airport, the energy of Mumbai hit me full force. The noise, the colors, the sheer rhythm of the place—it felt alive. My worries about the trip, about Adhi's plans, melted away as I took it all in. This city was everything I'd imagined and more. A sense of freedom and excitement flooded me.

"Welcome to Mumbai," Adhi said, his voice warm, his hand holding mine. "Let's make some unforgettable memories."

His words hung in the air, making my chest feel lighter. I glanced at him, the excitement mirrored in his eyes. I couldn't help but smile back, my earlier nerves disappearing. This wasn't just another day—it felt like the start of something important.

As we made our way into the heart of the city, my senses were overwhelmed in the best way possible. The honking cars, the smell of street food mingling with the salty breeze, the bright, bold signs in every direction. It was everything I dreamed Mumbai would be.

We took a cab to the hotel Adhi had booked. The ride itself was an adventure—the driver wove through traffic like it was second nature, and the city buzzed around us. I found myself pressing against the window, watching the life outside. Every corner seemed to have its own story, its own pulse.

When we arrived at the hotel, it was everything I could have hoped for—stylish, modern, and with a perfect view of the city skyline. I dropped my bags on the floor and practically ran to the window, taking in the breathtaking view.

"Adhi," I said, my voice filled with awe. "This... this is perfect."

He stood behind me, a soft smile on his face. "I knew you'd love it. And there's a lot more planned, so rest up. We have a full day tomorrow."

I turned to him, my heart swelling with gratitude. "Thank you, really. This means so much to me."

He smiled that easy, comforting smile of his. "You deserve it, Sam. I just want to make you happy."

For a moment, I couldn't find the words to express how much this trip already meant to me. But I didn't need to say anything. The way he looked at me, it was like he understood exactly what I was feeling.

As I settled into bed that night, exhaustion from the travel hitting me, I felt a warmth settle over me—a sense of security and joy that I hadn't felt in a long time. Tomorrow was a new day, and for once, I wasn't afraid of what was coming. With Adhi by my side, I felt ready for anything.

"Ahhh Adhi, this bed is soooo soft! I might never get up from this!" I mumbled, already half asleep.

"Good! I'll wake you up tomorrow morning then. Sleep well till then!" he said, grabbing his bag and heading for the door. Wait—wasn't he staying here?

"Adhi, you can sleep on the bed too. You don't have to sleep on the couch. It looks comfortable, but I'd feel awful if you did that!"

He chuckled. "There's another room, Sam. I'll be in there. I didn't want you to feel uncomfortable.

"Adhi, did you forget we switched bodies? There's nothing I haven'—" I stopped abruptly, realizing where I was going with that sentence.

Adhi just stood there, smirking. I felt my face flush as I quickly pulled the blanket over my head and shouted, "Good night, Adhi!"
