Based on a TikTok I saw of Chris calling Matt a liability and saying the channel would be better without him, but dramatized. Like really dramatized.

Tw: distancing yourself, crying, loneliness, regret.

Disclaimer: this was a long time ago, and it was just a bad joke that Chris made.

"No, dont say that, thats disrespectful. Thats so disrespectful"

"No! Me twice and Nick, instead of Matt"

"That's disrespectful Chris, I heard what you said it's just disrespectful.."

"Well then, Matt needs to step up his game"

Matt entered the car, oblivious to the conversation that had just conspired behind his back. Oblivious to his brothers opinion on him.
They had a good time that day, but it eventually it came to an end and they were back home. "Hey Matt, could you edit tonight? I'm beat man" Nick said, forgetting about his and Chris's conversation. Matt happily obliged and took the vlog camera, and the laptop to the living room, got some snacks and began to edit.

Around 10 minutes into the vlog, Matt stumbled across the conversation Nick and Chris had while he was gone. He put in his headphones and listened to the audio, hearing his brother Chris talk about him.
A liability? Better off without me?
Matt thought, pausing the video for a moment. Chris surely didn't mean that, right? Matt took a deep breath and shook his head, moving on to continue editing the vlog, Chris's words still ringing through Matt's head.

After a few days, Matt still couldn't shake Chris's voice from his mind. He knew Chris didn't mean it, but there was a part of him that wasn't sure of that fact, he had been staying in his room for the past few days, only coming out to film, and when they were filming he wouldn't say much. Only chiming in to add small things to the conversation, but then shutting himself down.

Chris was feeling bad, he hadn't meant what he said and he knew he had a problem with not having a filter, he didn't even know why he said it, he was trying to joke around, but clearly it wasn't funny. Matt was ignoring everybody and Nick was shooting glares at Chris any time he could. Chris knew he had to fix it, si thats what he would do.
One night after the three had just filmed a video, Chris quietly went and knocked on Matts door. Hearing no response, he opened it, the room was dark, hut there was a blob on the bed, covered with blankets. It was Matt. Chris felt his heart shatter, stepping forward into Matts room and sitting on his bed, thinking he was asleep. "Hey Matty..so, I'm really sorry.. honestly, I dont know why I said what I said on the vlog the other day- I didn't mean it Matt. I love you, I'd never actually want you to quit or anything.. I'm sorry" Chris finished, feeling tears fall down his face.
"It's okay.." a small voice mumbled from under the blankets, Chris jumped, practically out of his skin when he heard his brothers voice.

Matt uncovered himself and looked up at Chris, "I forgive you. But if you ever say some shit like that again I'll ignore you forever" Matt said seriously, Chris smiled slightly and nodded "Okay, never again"

"Yeah, and if you ever do it again I'll rip you limb from limb" Nicks voice called from the doorway. The three of them erupted into laughter and ended up cuddling with each other, comforting Matt and scolding Chris for a while about him needing to put on a heavy filter after this.

It'll take some time, but for now they were okay.
