Even though all of the guards were pointing their swords at Jungkook, his eyes were as red as blood.
With a sudden shout,
"Therefore, you will keep your sword in my throat, in your "king's" throat."
Despite the guards locking on one another, Jungkook persisted.
"Remember that I was the one in the state to defend our kingdom whether King was ill or not. I am the one who has consistently saved this kingdom's citizens. I am the one who deserves to rule as king, not a concubine's son."
Everyone's gaze shifted to Taehyung, who was equally as shocked as I was and yelled,
"Who are you to tell me this? I am not a Concubine's son. WHEN YOUR MOTHER IS UNKNOWN TO EVERYONE? Even worse than a concubine, she may be a prostitute."
Abruptly, Jungkook yelled,
"Watch out, guards! For disobeying the king, he and his mother should be taken to prison."
After acknowledging Jungkook's remarks, the guards handcuffed Taehyung's hands and began removing her mother from a secret room that I was unaware even existed.
She was in tears as she said,
"Oh, please, Jungkook, please have pity on us."
As Jungkook spoke in a stunned tone,
"I am the king of this palace, not Jungkook."
After giving Taehyung a quick glance, she said,
"What happened to your father and to this kingdom, my son Taehyungaa?"
At that moment, Empress Jeon yelled,
"Is this kingdom and my husband important to you? You are merely a concubine, and you would not be here, Serena, if it were not for his merciful intervention."
Taehyung's mother, Serena, chuckled as she said,
