I opened my eyes feeling burning sensation on my fingertips, the bright white light striked right in when I tried fixing my view.
I'm in hospital, Mrs Brian and grey by my side, "oh thank God you opened your eyes, we were so afraid" Mrs Brian said running her hands through my palm.
Grey helped me sit up, "what happened" I asked and they looked at me dumbfounded.

"You tell us what happened, you collapsed out of nowhere and didn't got your counciousness back for hours" she told me making me drink water.

We told your husband and he got so anxious that he started shouting at me like where is she, is she ok, blah blah blah..
Grey said mimicking his words.
"Where is he" I asked being scared and worried both, first I was late and second I created a mess made him worried for nothing.

"He is not here yet said he got stuck in traffic".
"Hm.. Mrs Brian I think you should go home now I'm feeling okay now".
"Yes honey I was waiting for you to wake up, I'm too old for staying up this late" she said laughing a little, Just then nurse came in.

"Hello ...are you feeling well now" she asked me smiling and putting the tray on the table .

"Yes pretty much".
"Ok let me remove your saline drip then doctor will recheck you" she said taking out her Cotton pads.

"Grinny I'll see off Mrs Brian downstairs ok"
Grey said and left with Mrs Brian.

Nurse remove jelco IV catheters from my wrist and clean the wound on its periphery also made me eat some very sour medicines.

She was placing some stuff of her's when I got up from bed and walked to the window.
"What time it is" I asked nurse as my eyes wander the blank black sky with no stars.

Why it feels so empty, why I feel so sad and why he is not here, will he not come.

"It's 1:40 am" she said throwing something in dustbin.

I closed my eyes feeling cold breeze hit my face , and when I opened my eyes I started looking at nothingness.
It soothes when you just let your eyes wander in search of nothing but I was lying my eyes wander around his shadow in this dark.

"Oh your husband is here.. I shall leave " she said I hear few steps approaching me.

He came and wrapped his arms around my waist and I thought he'll be angry but here he is wrapping me in his arms.

"What took you so long, you know how much I missed you today" I said when he kissed my shoulder feeling relief I put my head on his chest but something felt odd.

When I put my head on his chest , my head  reached his shoulder but usually when I hug him I never reach anywhere over his chest.

I touched his hand and that's when I felt it's not him but before I could turn around and see him, his voice made me jump out of my place.
His voice wasn't loud, but if was dead and I felt the pang in my heart when I looked at his face ; the disappointment in his eyes shattered my heart.

I frantically looked at him and then at that person who was hugging me; it's Frank.
I a snap of second I saw Josh hovering frank and punching him right across his face without stopping.

Not even a second later I saw blood all over, I was I didn't knew what to do,I was froze.

"Joshhh stop Josh" Mr Brian came running and tried holding him back.

"Grinny stop him please,, joshhh" Mr Brian's voice jerked me out and I tried holding his hand.

"Please stop, stop....STOP" I shouted so loud that made him stop his hand,
I looked at frank who is couching blood now.

I tried saying but before that he got and grabbed me by my hair.
"BITCH! CUNT!.. ..now it hurts you if I hit him".
His words were like knife across heart, his eyes turned red and from corner tears were threatening to leave.
Fisting my hairs more tighter he made me come closer to his face,

his voice was nothing less than venom and his breath smells like alcohol.
