"Can't take my charm! Can't take my humor."

"Can't take my wealth. 'Cause it's just a rumor."

Looking out in the audience seemed like a fever dream to Juniper. Everyone stomped along to the song and danced together, young or old, everyone seemed to get along perfectly well. Juniper's voice echoed throughout the entire pub, though she could barely hear her own voice due to everyone else singing along and the band blaring behind her.

"Nothing you can take was ever worth keeping."

"No, nothing you can take was ever worth keeping."

Children not old enough to be in the pub were there, singing and dancing along with their peers. Their smiling faces lit up Juniper's face, she was glad she was able to light up people's days with just a few of her songs.

"Thinking you're so fine!"

"Thinking you can have mine."

"Thinking you're in control."

"Thinking you'll change me, maybe rearrange me. Think again, if that's your goal!"

Juniper noticed her best friend, Marina Odair, standing in the front row, clapping along to the beat. Everyone else copied her actions and for a few moments, the entire crowd was in sync.

"Can't take my sass."

"Can't take my talking."

"You can kiss my ass, then keep on walking."

Juniper extended her hand to her friend, hoisting her up on the stage next to herself. As Juniper played her guitar, both girls sung into the microphone.

"Nothing you can take was ever worth keeping."

"Oh, nothing you can take me from is worth dirt."

"Take it, 'cause I'd give it free. It won't hurt."

"Nothing you can take was ever worth keeping. No, nothing you can take was ever worth keeping."
