Beetee draws a circle for everybody to see, creating twelve wedges inside of it. It represented the arena and the 12 sectors. Juniper noticed it was quite messy, but they all had better things to think about. No points for creativity.

"If you were Brutus and Cashmere, knowing what you do now about the jungle and its hazards, where would you feel the safest?" Beetee asked for the group, this reminded them of school. Beetee was the teacher.

"The beach." says Peeta. "It's clearly the safest place in this entire arena."

"Why aren't they here?"

"Because we own it, we outnumber them." Johanna answers, axe in hand. Juniper notices how Katniss eyed Johanna. She had a feeling she didn't like her.

"Exactly! We claim the beach. Since you have people on the beach, where else would you go?" Beetee asked.

"The edge of the jungle." Juniper said. Beetee nodded. Katniss also nodded, agreeing with Juniper.

"It's easy to escape if an attack ever came, but they could also watch us here." Katniss added.

"Correct." Beetee said. He drew something on what of the sectors. This really felt like class. "What happens at noon and midnight?"

"Lightning strikes the tree." Katniss answered.

"Right. Here's what I propose. Before midnight, we make our way through the jungle and to that tree. We run a wire from the tree down to the water. When lightning strikes the tree, the electricity will travel down the wire and into the water. It will electrocute the water and the damp sand, which will be wet from the ten o'clock wave."

Juniper understood exactly what he was saying, he could really be a teacher. She now understands how he was able to kill the final people in his games by electrocution.

"Would that wire be able to withstand that much power, Beetee?" Peeta asked. It's a fair question. "Wouldn't it just burn up?"

"Oh, it will burn up." Beetee said. Everyone deflated, this plan would surely fail. "However, the current would've passed through it before it would. It's acting as a fuse."

"How do you know?" Johanna asked.

"I invented it." Beetee picked up the wire. Some points clicked in Juniper's head. Beetee needing to grab the wire, taking a stab in the back for it. The wire Beetee invented being in the arena in the first place, it was placed by Plutarch. Not letting it go out of his sight She didn't know how he would do it, but this was it. They needed to keep Beetee alive because this was the escape.
