It had been a few days since Finnick had asked Juniper to marry him. However, the two had been hiding away from most of Thirteen for days. They had no duties to do, only leaving the room to train with Cashmere and get food.

Although the two had a good thing going for them, the nightmares didn't end. Finnick didn't know why they had gotten worse. Every time he closed his eyes, an image of losing Juniper played before his eyes. He had to keep waking up in the middle of the night and make sure she was still next to him.

It was pretty obvious Finnick was having nightmares, at least to Juniper. She could tell he didn't want to tell her directly, but he kept waking up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night- pulling her as close as he could to him.

It only got worse for Finnick when his nightmares started turning from Juniper disappearing to hating him again. Tonight, it was a dream where Juniper had left him completely when the war was over- saying she never loved him. Other images played in his mind, as if he was losing her.

Juniper turned around in the middle of the night and noticed him struggling, a tear went down his face which she wiped away with her thumb.

"Cariño." Juniper whispered. Finnick slowly opened his eyes and gave her a small smile, letting her know he could hear her.

"You love me, right?" Finnick whispered. His voice seemed cracked and broken. Juniper cracked a smile and placed the palm of her hand on his cheek gently.

"I love you." Juniper whispered, nodding slightly. "Always."

Finnick grew silent, but he couldn't get himself to close his eyes. He didn't want to see the nightmares, not again. His mind seemed to be playing tricks on him more than ever before, but they seemed so real.

Juniper knew little of what was going on in his head, but he hadn't been sleeping right. Something was bothering him, but she didn't know if he knew what it was either. It was like he was struggling with what he was seeing in front of him and what he was seeing when he was sleeping.

The situation had reminded her of when she was in the coma. Everything was fake, it wasn't real. But it seemed so real, she didn't know what else to expect. Juniper only wished she had someone to tell her it was fake, that's when her grandmother and Marina came along to help her.  She began asking herself questions in her head to help her with what was reality and what was fake. Real or not real?

"Ask me." Juniper spoke up, breaking the silence. Finnick furrowed his eyebrows, confused at what she was getting out. "Ask me if things are real and not real, if you don't know yourself."
