Khushi woke up and sat up straight. She stretched her arms and was feeling relaxed. It felt like she wasn't ill at all, so she got out of bed and picked up her phone. She opens the text and reads it "thik ho gayi hogi par khada aur medicine khake jaana.."
A smile appears on her face, she replies "Thank you dost.. Aisa lag raha hai jaise main beemar hi nahi thi love you"
She places her phone back and moves into the washroom to freshen up. After about 45 minutes she steps out and heads towards the dressing table. She combed her hair properly, tied them up and walked out of the room taking her school bag.
Here, Aarav had been getting ready to leave for the office. He picked up his watch and wore it around his wrist. He pulled out the coat and wore it. He stepped out of the room and descended the stairs. He glanced at the dining table, Khushi had been having the milk and her breakfast. He had a sigh of relief seeing her healthy again.
He sat down for the breakfast opposite her. "Daadi kal meri dost ne kitni care ki meri.. Pura din mere saath thi bahut achi hai na wo?" Khushi said
Sharda smiled "Haan beta.."
"Aur aaj wo padhane aayengi toh aap kuch acha sa banana unke liye!" Khushi spoke.
"Thik hai baby aur kuch?" Mary questioned her
"Nahi! Main chalti hun school ab" Khushi gets up and picks up her bag. She heads out of the house and sits inside the car.
Aarav eats his breakfast and scrolls his phone. He received a call from the office and left immediately, leaving the food in mid-way. He came outside and saw the driver changing the tire of the car. Khushi sighed deeply as she was getting late for school.
"Baitho chod deta hun school" he said softly
Khushi crossed her arms and refused "late ho jaungi par aapke saath school nahi jaungi! I don't even want school ka watchman bhi aapko mere saath deke!" She gave a hard response to him.
Her behavior had always hurted him but he is now used to it. "If you notice seeshe pe black film hai koi nahi dekh sakta andar kaun hai so just sit inside.." he again insists.
"Nahi ka matlab nahi hota hai Mr. Malhotra! Par aapko kahan yeh baat samajh aayegi?" she said sarcastically.
"Thik hai toh iss car mein chali jao main chala jaunga late office" Aarav gave another suggestion.
Khushi didn't move from her place. The driver changed the tire and Khushi sits inside the car. Aarav glanced at the driver and said "next time yeh sab iske school jaane se pehle hona chahiye got that!" he warns him
The driver apologized and quickly sat inside the car. Aarav sits in his car and both the cars move in opposite directions.
Later in the evening, Khushi had been desperately waiting for Manvi's arrival. About an hour late, Manvi comes and sits on the chair.
She looked at her and smiled "tabiyat thik hai?" she questioned about her well-being
"Ek dum.. Aap thik ho?" she asked as she now knows how her husband reacts. Manvi recalled last night's incident and passed a smile to her.
"Haan thik hun" she said
Khushi noticed the redness on her wrist and took out the ointment from the first-aid kit. She grabbed her hand and Manvi glanced at her bewildered. She took some on the tip of her fingers and applied to the wound.
"Uss din main ghar aayi toh unhone kitna kuch kaha tha kal toh aap pura din mere paas they toh kya kiya hoga.." she spoke leaving Manvi speechless.
She smiled seeing her concern and said "bas main thik hun chalo padhai karo exams aane waale hai na tumhare.."
