SELENA M. ANDERSON

"Can you shut up now?" I roll my eyes for the millionth time today.

We've been doing paperwork all day which became the perfect time for Weston to ask nonstop questions about my association with an Italian mafia don.

"Hell no! Keep going, what happened after you left the torture basement?!" Weston's eyes are gleaming with curiosity.

"That's the end of the story. Do your work." I snap at him, making him chuck a pen at me.

Ollie is quiet on the couch beside me. Our legs are intertwined and we work like a well oiled machine getting everything together for the big fight tomorrow night. A real one night money maker and one of our less illegal activities.

Weston starts whining, "I want the rest of it." Ignoring him, I switch computers with Ollie and look over the security details on his. "Come on, Selena. Pleaseeee! I need to know what happens next."

"Finish organizing the lineup or I'll freeze your cards," I respond back.

I hear him whine some more, but his content nagging is replaced with dramatically slow typing. Ollie and I immediately look at each other and roll our eyes.

It takes Weston about twenty minutes to finish and as soon as he does his laptop is tossed in my lap. I glance over at him to see him changing his seat from behind his desk to cross-legged in front of the couch.

"What do you want?" I narrow at my eyes at his suspiciously wide smile.

"I finished all my shit for the next two week and changed the passwords to my bank account–"

"You know I can hack you again in three minutes, right?"

Weston pouts at this and turns to Ollie, "Ollie, please tell Selena that she is coming out tonight to the club opening and that if she doesn't tell me the rest of the story I will not let her fight tomorrow night."

Ollie raises an eyebrow at me. I scrunch mine back at him. "What club opening is he talking about?"

"Castillo's nightclub. They're rebranding," he responds straight to the point.

I nod my head and weigh my options. There's really only one and Weston happened to be extremely stubborn.

"Fine," I grumble to which Weston claps his hands excitedly. "Woohoo! Story time is back on!"

.....

"I think you should just tell him the truth."

"I think you should just shut up." I laugh and struggle to pull up the zipper on my dress.

The twins are fast asleep at home with Sophia's mom watching them. With all the extra mafia in town and other dangerous individuals, Ollie insisted on staying there tonight too. I didn't object.

It's just me and Weston tonight.

"I'm serious, Selena." He pushes my hair out of the way and pulls up the zipper the rest of the way. I go back to my makeup bag. "You need to tell him everything."

"It's safer for the twins to keep him out of their lives."

"Safer for the twins or for you?" "All of us."

Weston studies my reaction and buttons his shirt up. "From what I heard, I don't think he would hurt you. It sounds like he cares about you and the way he looked at you yesterday is proof go that. And what about Angelo and Felicity? They have a right to know their father."
