SELENA MONTGOMERY

Are those bagpipes?

Are what bagpipes?

Those.

Then I hear it, a loud, obnoxious, most of all terrible playing of the bagpipes.

And then I see the most loud, obnoxious, and about to be dead person in the world playing them.

Rossi.

I see Adam wide awake beside me holding up a gun and pointing it at Rossi's forehead as a reflex.

Pull the trigger.

Yes, please.

But instead Adam puts his gun away and yells. "Shut the fûck up, Rossi!"

Rossi's eyes are closed and he opens them when he hears Adam. "Sorry, didn't see ya there. I didn't wake you did I?" Rossi asks actually oblivious.

"Oh I'm going to kill you." I growl, getting up from the bed, but Adam holds me back. "Let. go. of. me." I hiss, very angry at someone
waking up my beautiful slumber.

"Rossi I suggest you leave us before Selena actually strangles you with those pipes." Rossi nods, watching me cautiously.

He backs away slowly and is about to leave before Adam asks, "Where did you get that from anyways?"

He runs away and we hear him say two words. "Your sister."

He rolled his eyes at Rossi's answer and I just sat there thinking about ways to kill Rossi.

Adam pulled me back into the bed and grabbed a remote-

I knew it. Anyways...

from his nightstand and turned off the lights. He then pulled the cover over us and we fell asleep once again. I smiled evilly as his arms wrapped around my waist, pulling me closer to him.

What?

I had a lot of catching up to do.

We, at least I, woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs. My least favorite breakfast food of all.

My parents always had me make bacon and eggs in the morning and whatever they hated, they spat out and made me eat.

Now you know why it is my least favorite food along with steak.

I opened my eyes to see Rossi holding a white flag and a plate of scrambled eggs and bacon. I think it's a flag but I can't be sure because it just looks like a piece of copy paper poorly taped to a pen.

I am so annoyed by the plate of food in Rossi's hand, that I hadn't noticed that me and Adam had switched sides.

When the nightstand comes into my vision, I grin.

Adam still hasn't woken up, which is very surprising. He probably smells the food and is ignoring it.

I open the nightstand drawer as Rossi waits patiently for me to accept his "apology." Ha, ha he thought.

Sadly Adam is awake before I can pull through with my plan, and catches the remote before it hits Rossi's forehead. Rossi is still shocked and the plate falls from his hands, along with the flag, and shatters as it hits the ground.

"Why are you here?" Adam grits his teeth at Rossi obviously annoyed by the mess.

"I came to make amends and also to inform you that the Americans are arriving at the airport in 10 minutes. I sent a car to pick them up."

"Thank you," Adam runs his hands through his messy bed hair, "I'll get ready for their arrival, meantime, call the maids to clean up this mess." Rossi nods and leaves the room.

Adam turns to me, "And you, Selena. What did I say about being nice to Rossi?"

"Nothing..." I respond, trying to contain my smile. He looks so cute with his hair all messy. Not like an Italian mob boss for sure.

"Would you like me to say it again?" Adam inquires with a smirk. Before I know it, his hands are pinning mine beside my head. He is straddling me and oh my.....

"Do you think I'll remember it better if you do?" I ask taking advantage of his loosening grip to move my hands into his hair.

He just nods and hums as he moves down so our lips can meet again.

Our kiss doesn't stop until we hear a soft knock on the door. Adam doesn't bother going to the door as he stops our kiss to ask who it is.

A soft feminine voice answers in Italian, but I am way too occupied to comprehend what she is saying or what Adam says in response.

He lays soft kisses on my neck. Done slightly graze, heating up my skin.

He stops to whisper in my ear that we should get ready and the maids need to clean his room.

We leave the room and Adam drops me off in front of my room saying, "Take a shower and change."

It was more of a command but I obliged anyways.

He went into the room down the hall.

After a hot shower, I decide to put on a loose white t-shirt and some gray, black, and white sweatpants. Comfy.

I wasn't planning on meeting any of these Americans so I should be just fine.

I walk to see Adam leaning against my door. He is rolling up the cuffs on his shirt a little bit. He his wearing a white button up and black pants.

His hair is slicked back to perfection.

This was his mafia side.

He looks me up and down and says, "While I'll like your outfit, maybe something a bit more suitable for business." "Sure," I reply with a roll of my eyes. He chuckles as I slam the door behind me.

"Fuck" Adam says when he sees me all dressed

I smirk, "What was that?" "Oh, it's nothing. We are better head downstairs." I follow Adam down the stairs until we end up in the foyer.

I chuckle behind him occasionally which makes him loose his balance and almost trip. Before we head out front to meet his "guests," he tells me to behave. I nod and change my facial expression.

I can tell Adam is a little shocked by the sudden mood change, but he will get used to it, eventually.

Adam's attitude changes too.

Mr. Mafia man.

We step outside, him, then me.

That's when I see him. Tattoos scarring his body. Everything but his hands and face is covered.

An evil cheshire grin covers his face.

"What a surprise! Hello, Katrina."
