"We did it!" Tanjiro exclaims.
"It's only because you had the help of the mighty inosuke!" Inosuke yells.
I laugh. It felt strange. I haven't felt happiness in a while. I continue to drink the medicine giyu gave me.
I look over to giyuu who is slightly smiling. It feels weird - I always thought he was emotionless. Sometimes he didn't even seem human.
"Shinobu, I have something to tell you." Kanao said with a serious face.
"What is it?" I replied.
"I went against the plan you told me. I wanted you to live. I won't be able to live knowing you killed yourself and I didn't even try to stop you. I'm sorry." Kanao admitted.
I look over to kanao in shock.
"You would do that... for me?" I ask.
"Of course! Your my elder sister after all." She says with a bright smile on your face.
"Thank you so much I say as I hug her. I feel a few tears run down my cheek. Maybe there is a reason to live. Maybe there is happiness.
