Chapter 129

Y/n POV
The next day
Later that night
I was standing in front of the bed looking at this outfit Miguel left in the bed.... a very long red dress.... and diamond earrings and necklace.... I just took a deep breath and felt nervous about this..... I kept looking at the dress... And let out a small gasp feeling Miguel arms around me....
" are you ready for tonight?" He asked as I felt him kiss my neck.....
" yeah..... I think so...." I said and then let out a nervous chuckled...
" you nervous?" He said looking at me...
" a little..." I said he just chuckled and pulled me closed to him....
" don't be..... it's just something for the both of us.... just remember to say yes...." he said
" yes?" I said
As he nod having a smile
" okay..." I softly said and smiled
" I'm go get ready..." he said
" okay.." I said and I just kept looking at the dress and had a worry look.....
I ended up getting ready I just kept looking at myself in the mirror looking at the mark Miguel left me last night.... I try covering it up with makeup but you could still see it..... I let out a small sigh..... and looked down till I felt the coldness from the necklace seeing Miguel putting it on....
" you almost forgot the final touch of your outfit..." he said having a smile...
" thank you..." I said smiling...
" your welcome.." he said smiling and then pulled me into a kiss...... he pulled away and looked at me.....
" you look beautiful...." he said smiling at me...
" thank you..." I said
" you look handsome as well..." I said smiling as he let out a chuckled...
" ready to go...?" He said
" yeah let me make sure Gabriella is asleep" I said walking out the room and checking her seeing her asleep and the babysitter sitting down near her bed having a book in her hands.....
I walked out as Miguel standing out there...
" ready..." I said as he grabbed my hand and then left the house.... the whole car ride Miguel was holding my hand I just kept looking out the window looking at the city lights....
When we arrived there was a couple of people there... of course half of Miguel work buddies or whatever..... once I turn around I see Miguel gone.... of course.... what kind of surprise this man have besides him having mutations abilities and being Spider-Man..... and who knows what else he's hiding.... the whole time I was just sitting down as Miguel was doing whatever since he wasn't in the crowd.... I just looked at my glass of water and looked at the view we had..... the whole city shining with the bright lights.....
" y/n.." I heard someone I turn around seeing Jessica sitting next to me
" hi.." I said giving her a smile...
" so how you been?" She asked
" alright I guess.." I said
" what's going on?" She asked
" well I do have a child  to take care and Gabriella..." I said as she let out a chuckled
" so things been hard?" She asked
" well kind off mostly with Miguel...." I said
" like he brought me here so we could hang out together and he said he had a surprise for me but the whole time he's been gone..." I said
" typical Miguel..." she Said
" definitely" I said smiling
" but whatever this surprise Miguel has for you just make sure to have a big smile and say yes...." she said I just looked at her a little confused
" Miguel told me the same thing...." I said
" it's for the best y/n....." she said as she looked up and saw Miguel coming towards them...
" I see you later" she said standing up walking away and looked at Miguel.... Miguel sat next to me and looked at me having a small smirk on his face
" so what was Jess telling you?" He asked
" nothing..." I said rubbing my neck feeling nervous.....
" you okay?" He asked
" I'm fine..." I said forcing a smile
He grabbed my hand making me stand up as he took in the center of the floor placing his hands on my waist just us dancing... I was looking at his brown eyes....
" well this is nice..." I said
" what is?" He asked
" just us dancing..." I said smiling He just smiled and pulled me into a kiss..... he pulled and and looked at me right in the eyes....
" what do you think about marriage?" He asked I just let out a nervous chuckled
" well what I think about marriage is probably for only people who are in love.." I said
" do you think we're in love?" He asked it took me so long to answer...
" maybe...." I said
" maybe?" He said
" yeah..." I said
" oh..." he said when I felt him grip on my waist.... for some reason I just let out a nervous laugh....
" what's wrong?" He asked
" nothing...." I said
" about that surprise y/n...." he said
" yeah?" I said
" do you love me?" He asked
" I do...." I said
" and will always love you...." I said
" what about you?" I asked
" I love you no matter what...." he said I smiled at him....
" there's something I been wanting to ask for a very long time but..." he said
" but what?" I said
" I just don't think I have the proper words to say it...." he said having a smile
" I love you so much y/n that I want to make you mine.... I want you be with me forever...." he said grabbing my hand.... I looked at him a little confused...
" what do you mean by that?" I asked
He just had a smile seeing him kneel down the way my eyes grew big...
" Miguel.." I said just feeling my heart beat
" y/n...." he said seeing him pulled out a ring box and opening the box seeing the ring....
The way how my whole body just froze...... this is happening so fast.....
" y/n.... i will always love you... You don't understand how happy you make me...... you made me a father to the most wonderful little girl......and I want you to be mine forever...." he said
" y/n what I'm trying to say is...... will you marry me...?" He said
I felt myself breath heavily... my whole body all tense up..... I felt like I couldn't speak.... at all.... the twisting feeling in my stomach having the urge to throw up...... I took a deep breath and open my mouth.......
" no...." I said....  the way Miguel smile faded away..... he stood up as he was angry....... he just grabbed me tightly making me look at him.... The way how red his eyes were....... I really messed up......

But that actually didn't happen.....
" y/n?" Miguel said
I just let out a small gasped and started blinking rapidly..... if I said no he was probably going to do something to me..... I just took a deep breath and open my mouth.........

" yes..." I said feeling my heart just beat fast..
he had a big smile and place the ring on my finger....
I just said yes......
I just smiled at him letting out a nervous chuckled....
He just pulled me into a deep kiss.....
We both pulled away and looked at each other smiling...
" you're going to be Mrs. O'Hara....." he said
" uh-huh..." I said laughing nervously....
Wow.......I'm now engaged with Miguel O'Hara...... I'm going to be his wife...... it's been a year since we been together now we're engaged wow.......
