Y/n POV
A few days later
A very cold and rainy afternoon just me in the kitchen cleaning everything up while Gabriella was in the living room playing with her toys.. and Miguel was still in his office so I assume he's probably going to come home late or something.. I was just washing the dishes looking out the window seeing the rain drops hit the window... I was zoned out for a while just thinking about something that I didn't even heard Miguel walk in till I felt him tap my shoulder that it made me flinch that my whole body reacted that I just grabbed his hand gripping it harsh...
" hey hey calm down.." he said I just let out a small sigh and let him go...
" I'm sorry.." I said
" you okay?" He asked
" yeah I'm fine.." I said
" just a little tired..." I said
" oh" he said
" uh-huh..." I said and took a deep breath I walked out the kitchen going to the living room seeing Gabriella asleep on the couch... I checked the time and it was already 9...already? How long have I been washing those dishes? I just carry Gabriella upstairs tucking her in her bed... I got out her room going downstairs seeing him in the dining room having dinner I sat down...
" so how was work?" I asked
" alright" he said
" oh.. why alright" I said
" just cause it was a hard day..." he said
" oh" I said
" what about you how was your day?" He asked
" same as always" I said giving him a small smile....
He just grabbed my hand and started rubbing it
I was looking down till and I look at him....
" what do you do in that office?" I asked
" ever since I stopped working there and we got together you been acting a little odd...." I said hoping for him not to get mad....
He just looked at him and started laughing...
At this point I don't know if I should be scared I just started playing with my engagement ring...
" why you don't believe that I'm actually doing my job and I'm not hiding anything...." he said he grabbed my hand but this time feeling him grabbing it tight..... and he looked at me right in the eyes not breaking eye contact at all......
" I'm not hiding anything..." he said
" believe me...." he said then he just smirked at me....
" do you believe me?" He asked
I just nod and took a deep breath.....
" yeah..." I softly said
" I believe you.... I'm sorry for that stupid question...." I said
" don't worry..." he said standing up taking his plate to the kitchen and coming back in....
He stand right next to me just looking down at me and place his hand on my cheek and smiled....
" I love you..." he said I just smiled at him...
" I love you too..." I said...
" care joining me in the shower?" He asked
" sure I be up in a minute..." I said
" okay.." he said as he just kissed my head and went upstairs...
I just sat there quietly and let out a small sigh... I went upstairs and of course I ended up joining Miguel in the shower and yeah.... it was the longest and most steamy shower ever.....
