Chapter 180

Y/n POV
4 days later
I was up early just in the living room laying down in the couch reading a book while listening to the rain pouring. I was also up when Miguel was leaving for work so at least I got my goodbye kiss from him. So after that I couldn't sleep after so I was just downstairs in the living room till I decided to make breakfast for Gabriella so I wouldn't be rushing once she wakes up.
After finishing making breakfast I went upstairs to go check on Gabriella
And once I open the door I see her that she was up and playing with her toys...
" oh well look who's up early" I said walking towards her and picking her up..
" well morning my little princess" I said giving her a kiss and I just see how crazy her hair was it was just everywhere...
" let's get you ready for the day" I said going inside her closet and grabbing some of her clothes and shoes
" so what do you think we go for a small walk and meet some neighbors of ours?" I asked
" I mean if we do have some" I said as she just nod while I was changing her..
I was brushing her hair making two pigtails and she just looked so adorable.
" come one let's go downstairs and have breakfast" I said grabbing her hand while we walk down the stairs.
While she was eating her breakfast I made myself a cup of coffee and was drinking it while I look out the window seeing that it was getting clear. Seeing the sun shine so bright and hearing the birds chirping..
After Gabriella was done we were on are way out the house and just walked the block.
It felt good being out the house and explored this whole place and just see if we are the only ones here or do we have neighbors like I will want to meet them and make friends...
As we walked we just see a small pond where they had some ducks there which made Gabriella excited to see her first ducks there...
We just kept walking and we see a few house and I'm surprised that there was actually people out... they all look friendly... me and gabbi just kept walking as someone who looked very nice started talking to us...
" why hello" she said walking towards us
" hello" I said smiling at her..
" my name is Jessica" she said reaching for a hand shake
" y/n"i said giving her a hand shake.
" you must be new here haven't seen you here before..." she said
" yeah we just moved in here a few weeks ago in that house in the far end.."I said
" oh right I seen your husband..Miguel O'Hara right?" she said
" yeah" I said
" well he's soon going to be my husband..." I said
" oh so you two are engaged" she said
" yeah" I said
" that's good" she said as she looked down and see Gabriella
" and who's this little girl.." she said as she kneeled down and smiled at gabbi
" this is my daughter Gabriella" I said
" gabbi say hi" I said
" hi." She said smiling
" aren't you a little cute thing" she said smiling
" how old is she?" She asked
" she's barely two" I said
"Oh" she said I just looked at seeing her eyes water
" you have kids?" I asked
" yeah I have a 12 year old little girl" she said
" I really miss when they were just little... I really wish they could stay as babies and never grow up..." she said
" yeah it sucks seeing your little ones grow up..." I said
"Yeah" she said
She just looked at me...
" there's something maybe you should hear...." she said
" yeah?" I said
" never let the father of your child control you y/n...." she said randomly
" what?" I said a little confused
" just take my word..." she said
It just seem if she knew the type of man Miguel was.... and it also seem if she also been through the same thing....
I just nod...
" but it was lovely to meet y/n...." she said
" if there's anything you need you could always come here any time. Even if you need someone to talk" she said smiling
I just smiled back.
" you sure" I asked
" I'm very sure.." she said smiling
" thank you" I said smiling
" no problem y/n" she said
" I see you around" she said as she walked back into her home....
