John B parks the Twinkie outside of Tannyhill's walls and we quietly shuffle out. By now the sun has set which will thankfully increase our chances of staying out of sight.

"He's got the truck," JJ says softly, peeking over the wall to see the large truck that passed us earlier driving up to the front of the estate.

"Shh. Stay low, stay low, stay low," John B shushes us as we scurry over to the wall and barely peer over it. The truck breaks squeal as Rafe puts it in park and he hops out.

"How much do you wanna bet Rafe has the cross inside that truck right now?" Pope inquires.

Sarah shakes her head beside me. "There's only one way to find out." As she starts to walk away, John B hurries after her.

"Hey, hey. Wait," he whispers.

"What?"

"Look, before you volunteer on this death mission, I need to know a couple things," he pleads.

"'Death mission,' that sounds familiar."

"Okay, look, Sarah, I just have questions."

"About what?"

"Us."

"Us?"

"Yeah, Sarah, come on."

I subtly glance over to JJ and Pope, who both roll their eyes and act like they weren't just hanging on to every word in their conversation.

"You wanna talk about us now?" Sarah folds her arms over her chest.

"Yes. I... I... I'm sorry, okay? I'm... I'm sorry. And... and I should have said it sooner," John B admits. "I want you to have this back." He holds out what I assume to be the shredded piece of bandana, although I can't see it with John B's back facing me. "Will you take it?"

A long silence follows as the two hold eye contact. Sarah breaks first, wrapping an hand on the back of his neck and smashing his lips against hers. It takes every ounce of my self control not to cheer in celebration, so instead I'm over here staring at the couple with a creepy smile on my face. I am so unbelievably happy for them.

"Does that answer your question?" Sarah teases. Her voice is low, but the night is so quiet that any word spoken between the two can be heard easily.

"Yeah."

"And yeah, I want this back." Sarah plucks the fabric from John B's hand and turns away.

"Okay. Be safe." John B turns back to the three of us with a love struck grin plastered on his face.

"Hey! Do you want me to perform your vows while you're at it?" Pope teases. "I mean could you take any longer?"

"Did you say 'be safe'?" JJ asks him.

"Guys! Seriously?" I scrutinize them, smacking JJ on the arm.

"I did say 'be safe'." John B tells him shamelessly.

We redirect our gaze back over the wall to see Sarah scaling the side of the truck to peer through the open window. "What's she doing?" Pope asks. Sarah turns back in our direction and lifts her arms up questioningly.

I read her lips as she mouthes," I don't know what to do. I need the keys!"

"Come back!" John B whispers back, beckoning her.

"I'm going inside. I'll be fine."

"No. No. Don't go inside!" Pope protests, but my sister couldn't hear him. She disappears through the large, glass double doors.
