It was Friday, a normal day, actually. Well, not really. Because it was the first Friday that Sand went to Yolo alone, without company, without Summer. It was a strange feeling, unfamiliar. He had his guitar on his back and was just getting on his bike when the phone rang.

"Nick? What's up?" Sand turned off his bike.

"You're at Yolo tonight, aren't you?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Everyone's here. I just wanted to warn you, Summer's there too." The name made Sand flinch briefly. "Ray and Black have joined us as well." So Ray was there too, how was he supposed to face the other? Everything inside Sand tightened, his heart skipped a beat and suddenly he wasn't quite as calm as before. "Sand, are you still there? Or have you lost your tongue?" Nick's laughter could be heard through the phone.

"I'm still here..." Sand mumbled.

"You're still coming, aren't you?"

"Of course, I promised Yo didn't I?"

"And besides, you can't shut yourself off from everyone for another week. We've already missed you here." With those words, Nick hung up.

"This is gonna be fun." Sand said to himself as he put on his helmet, hopped on the bike and made his way to the Yolo.

"Ray, can I talk to you for a minute?" Mew tugged on his best friend's sleeve. He was glued to Black, as he always was lately.

"What is it?"

"Can we talk for a minute, please, in private?" Ray rolled his eyes, talking to Mew in private usually meant that he would get a sermon from the other, and he was in absolutely no mood for that this evening.

"Do you have to do that now?" Mew took him by the arm and pulled him along, with Ray protesting, of course.

"Yes, it has to be now." Mew pulled Ray with him outside, in front of the bar entrance.

"What do you want to talk about?" Ray lit a cigarette and greedily inhaled the smoke.

"What is it with Black and you?" Mew had leaned against the wall of the bar next to Ray. "What are you to each other?"

"And why the fuck should that concern you?" Ray was annoyed by the constant questions from his friends, Longtae had already annoyed him enough with this question.

"I'm asking you as a good friend, I'm worried about you."

"What happens between him and me is entirely my business, isn't it?" Ray was quite irritated, he was having a bad day.

"Yes it is...but."

"Mew, it's really none of your business okay?" Ray pushed himself away from the wall and threw his cigarette on the floor, ready to go back inside.

"Can you please stop being so stupid right now?" Mew held Ray by his arm.

"Damn it Mew, let go of me." Ray tore himself away from Mew and stumbled backwards, straight into someone. It took him a brief moment to collect himself. "I'm so sorry, my friend is a..." Ray faltered mid-sentence as he realized who he had stumbled into. "Sand." He smoothed his clothes and ran a hand over his face. That was not what he needed now, on top of everything.

"What's wrong with you?" Sand looked at the other. "Started drinking again?" He regretted the sentence as soon as it had left his lips.

"Very bad idea today," growled Ray. "Fuck you all, honestly." Mew and Sand gave each other a confused look and then looked after Ray, who had disappeared back into the bar.
