Chapter 25

Bella's P.O.V

It has been a week and a half and things have moved smoothly now. I have been focusing on school and the baby. I had to change my eating habits and Kendra has helped me and so had Jacob when he was here. He had only been here twice a week to spend time with me. When he was here he had falling more in love with the baby. He cared for it so much he already had made plans for the baby when it was born. This made me so happy. Kendra walked into our room with a tray of food she got somewhere.

"Here's your food you're probably really hungry right now." Kendra said.

"Yeah." I said.

I sat up on my bed. She set the food down and I immediately ate. She handed me a glass of water, sat on her bed, and watched me. Ten minutes later, my whole plate of food was gone.

"Wow, I never knew a pregnant woman could be so hungry." Kendra said.

"Well, I am feeding for two." I said.

She laughed and took my tray and set it down on the desk.

"So..." Kendra said.

"So what?" I asked.

"What are you going to do about everything?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, having this baby. You got to raise it somewhere and what about the rest of your years here in college? You can't take care of a child in college. You have classes."

"I know and that's the problem because I probably will be due in July."

"July? That's only six months. A pregnancy is nine months."

"Yeah well that won't be happening for me."

"What, why?"

"Well, it's complicated. I'm one-week pregnant but I don't look like that."

"Maybe you're having twins."

"Maybe but it can't be."

To let you know I looked eight weeks pregnant at a week in a half so I was already showing a tad. This happened in the middle of the week after Jacob left. He hasn't noticed it so I keep it covered. If he found out he would get worried and would want a doctor who could help us with our situation. Speaking of a doctor, I had been to a doctor and they thought the same. They didn't know what it was and I was thinking like I said looking for someone else. Maybe Carlisle. I haven't talked to him for awhile and I've been wondering if they were still in Forks. If they were, maybe spring break, I could come home and see my dad and go visit Carlisle if Jacob approved. Speaking of dad, I also hadn't to tell him about the pregnancy. Jacob told Billy, but I told Jacob to tell his dad not to tell my dad yet because I wasn't ready for him to know. I still have to tell my mom also but I'm not ready to tell her either.

"You never know." Kendra said pulling me out of my dream.

"Yeah well I probably need to see another doctor because they're not very helpful. I know someone back home who could help me."

"Bella, they're great doctors. What could they not be doing right?"

"Like I said, it's complicated and there are things I can't tell you."

"What things? You can tell me anything."

"I know but this is big, and it deals with the baby."

"OK, then I can keep a secret."

"If I tell you Jacob will get mad."

"Oh, so it deals with Jacob also?"

"Yeah."
