Chapter 38

Bella's P.O.V

Previously...

"I have one more thing I want to show you." Jacob said.

I looked at him curiously. He retook my hand and led us out of the room to the room next door. Jacob opened the door, and we walked in, and I gasped. It was a little nursery for our baby. I looked around and saw that the walls were white and the floor had gray carpet. There was a white dresser by the closet with a golden round mirror above it. Where the crib was, there was a white blanket lay folded over the crib, a stuffed animal, and two pillows laying on top. Next to the crib, there was a big plant and laundry basket with towels in it. Also, there was a bookshelf full of baby books. I looked at the other side and saw a white chair with another white blanket lying on top with another stuffed animal laying on it. Also, an orange little cushion stand was lying in front of it. Everything was so cute, and it was perfect.

"What do you think?" Jacob asked.

"I love it. Thank you." I replied.

Jacob smiled, and I hugged him. We then pulled away, and I kissed him. He deepened the kiss, and his tongue asked for entrance, and I let them. We made out for a minute until he pulled away.

Jacob's P.O.V

I'm so glad Bella likes the nursery. It took me a while to plan the layout and everything. I really wanted it to be perfect. Also, I've been nervous about something. I'm ready, and I got Charlie's permission since I turned eighteen a couple of months already, I can ask her. I just don't know when's the right time to ask her. Maybe, I should take her out on a date tomorrow.

"Hey, babe. Can I take you out tomorrow night?" I asked.

"Sure. Of course." Bella replied.

"OK, great."

I kissed her again and pulled her close to me.

"I love you." I said leaning my forehead against hers.

"I love you, too." Bella said.

"I can't wait to have a baby with you."

"Me too. Speaking of baby, he's kicking."

"Really?"

I placed my hand on her stomach, and I could feel the baby kick.

"He's so much like me." I said.

Bella smiled when suddenly, she grunted in pain.

"Babe, are you okay?" I asked with worry.

"Yeah, he's just kicking hard." Bella replied.

Suddenly, she screamed in pain.

"Jacob, it hurts!" Bella yelled.

"Let's get you to the bed, and I'll call Carlisle." I said.

She nodded as she took deep breaths. I walked her to our bedroom, and as we walked, her stomach hurts again, and suddenly water dripped from her knees, and my eyes widened.

"Bells, your water broke." I said.

Bella looked down, surprised.

"I'm in labor. We need to get to a hospital or get Carlisle here." Bella said.

"I'll call Carlisle." I said. "You lay down and take deep breaths. I'll be right back."

Bella laid down and nodded.

I left the room and called Carlisle.

Bella's P.O.V

I can't believe I'm in labor. I still have a couple on weeks till I'm due. I took deep breaths. I needed to call my dad to let him know the baby was coming. I pulled out my phone and dialed his number. After a couple of rings, he answered.
