Chapter 2

Bella's P.O.V

For the past couple of days, I've been packing and taking things from my room to pack to put in my dorm room, because I will move into my dorm in two weeks or maybe sooner. I wanted my dorm to feel like home. Especially since I won't be living here for four years. Dad suddenly walked in with a phone in his hand.

"Hey Bella, your mother wants to talk to you." Dad said.

"OK." I said taking the phone.

He left the room, and I spoke through the phone.

"Hello." I said.

"Hey, sweetie. How have you been?" Mom asked.

"Good."

"I miss you. I can't wait to see you."

"I miss you too and I can wait to see you."

"Mom, we will get to do a lot of stuff when you come to town next week. We can shop, go to the beach, or do anything you want."

"Wait, mom, you're coming next week to pick me up?"

"Yes, sweetie and you will stay with me a little while until you have everything moved in."

"Oh, so I won't be coming back here for a while."

"No, so you will need to say goodbye to everyone especially someone you love."

"Hum about that would you be mad if Jacob comes to see me a little bit. We don't like to be away from each other too much."

"Sure sweetie only if he doesn't ruin our time together."

"He won't mom, I promise."

"OK."

"Thanks."

There was a moment of silence and I spoke.

"Anyways I'll see you when you get here." I said.

"OK, well I better let you go, sweetie. I love you." Mom said.

"Love you, too."

"Bye."

"Bye."

I hung up the phone and dad walked in.

"Were you eavesdropping?" I asked.

"No, I came a minute before you hung up." Dad replied.

"Ah huh.. right."

I handed him the phone and he left the room. It will be a long week next week. I finished packing the important stuff and got ready for bed because I was tired from packing all day.

Jacob's P.O.V

During my couple of days, all I have been doing was patrol, bike stuff, and seeing Bella. Today patrol had been tougher for me, because the Cullens were everywhere since they will not leave town. I really did not get the point why they would not leave because they had no business here anymore. The Cullen kids did not go to school in Forks anymore and since Edward did not have Bella anymore, he had no purpose here. In addition, since Sam got married he had been asking me if I wanted to become the Alpha. When do I have time for that? I had a girlfriend who was leaving soon, I was visiting my sister Rebecca after that, and I was seeing Bella once a week? I had to tell him no. I saw him in the forest after I phased back to human form, and I got dressed. I walked over to him.

"Sam, I can't become Alpha." I said.

"I know you can't but since Emily and I are married, we want to start a family soon." Sam said.

"Sam I'm sorry it's too crazy right now especially that I'm leaving to go to Hawaii in a couple weeks."

"Oh, I forgot about that. How long are you going to be gone?"

"A month."

"Oh OK, then will you decide when you get home if you want to?"

"Sure, I'll think about it."

"OK, thanks, Jacob."

He left the forest to see Emily and I headed to the beach where the pack was. This will be the busiest month this year.
