Chapter 37

Bella's P.O.V

It has been five weeks now, and I was due next week, which was crazy. The pregnancy went by so fast. Since I could be due anytime soon, Jacob and I have been preparing ourselves for our future together. Also, Jacob has been working way more to save up, so I don't see him that much, but that's OK because I've signed up for online classes this coming semester and been shopping for baby clothes for our baby. Also, Jacob and I have finally made our baby name decision between Michael, Sebastian, or Daniel, but we decided we were not going to tell anyone until he was born. Also, I've wanted to get a job, but since I was about to pop, Jacob thought I should rest. I even had visited Emily. Their baby was so cute. They named her Maya Amber Uley, which was such a lovely name. Speaking of middle names, I came up with some middle names and can't wait till tell Jacob. I was supposed to tell him later today because he said he has a surprise for me then, so he was coming to pick me up around 7.

I was in the middle of washing my dishes when I felt a kick in my stomach.

"Baby, I know you love to kick, but I need to focus." I said as I rubbed my stomach.

I'm guessing he was awake and not just rolling around because when he heard my voice, he kicked again. I shook my head.

"I love you, and all but mommy needs to focus." I said.

Suddenly, I heard footsteps, and I looked up to see dad.

"What's going on here?" Dad asked.

"Just my baby wouldn't stop kicking. He's awake." I replied.

"Maybe I should take care of your dishes, and you can go calm him down. You don't want to go into labor anytime soon."

I nodded. I walked into the living room to sit down and lay on my back.

"OK, baby. Now it's time to sleep. I'm going to sing you something that my mom used to sing to me when I was your age."

"The other night dear, as I lay sleeping"

When I finished, I didn't feel him kick again, and I sighed.

"Wow, I didn't know you could sing." A deep voice said.

I gasped. I looked up from the couch to see Jacob leaning against the wall.

"How did you?" I asked.
