Chapter 22 Pt 1

Jacob's P.O.V

After a week now, it has been pretty much what it was like before. It was like before I met Bella. It was as if she moved away and I have not seen her in weeks. Since Bella thought it would be better to stay away from her campus she would have to call me and to set up something to do, but since I hadn't heard a word from her all week, I thought she has been busy with tests and homework. So since I was not allowed to see her, I had been stuck in La Push doing what I usually do. Being an alpha wolf which I took over and protecting humans from any vampires coming onto our land. I have also been training new wolves that have joined my pack. Their names are Brady Fuller and Collin Littlesea and they were thirteen and the youngest of the pack. I also was working now at a shop with vehicles to keep me from thinking and being around her. That has been one of the hardest things to do since I imprinted on her.

Bella's P.O.V

After studying for my test, I was having my second class of the day; I decided that I wanted a break. What would I do for a couple of hours? I did not have Jacob around to keep me company, but then Kendra walked in with her boyfriend Mason.

"Hey, what's up?" Kendra asked.

"Nothing, I'm just taking a break from studying." I replied.

"Do you want to go with us to a pool party off campus?"

"No it's okay. You guys go have fun."

"Are you sure you need to get out and also you can bring your boyfriend?"

"I would but he's at home and I bet he's busy."

"Why don't you call him and see?"

"Alright."

They left the room as I picked up my phone and called him. After hearing three beeps, he finally picked up.

"Hey Bella, I didn't know you would call. I thought you have to study or something?" Jacob asked.

"Yeah, I did but I'm taking a break." I replied.

"So then do you want to do something?"

"Yeah, but actually I called to ask you if you wanted to go to a pool party with Kendra and her boyfriend?"

"Pool party, you want to go to a pool party?"

"Yeah."

"Remember back then?"

"Yeah, I remember, but I don't even talk to Chase anymore."

"Not even since that almost fight when I was there."

"No."

"Well fine but he better not be there."

"OK."

"Well I'll be there in an hour."

"OK, see you when you get here."

"OK, I love you."

"Love you, too."

"Bye."

"Bye."

I hung up the phone and went to my chest of drawers to pick out something to wear. I picked out a turquoise two-piece swimsuit then I went to my closet to pick out a pair of jean shorts and a nice t-shirt and a pair of sandals. Suddenly Kendra walked back in here.

"So where's your boyfriend and when is he going to be here?" Kendra asked.

"He's on his way." I replied.

"Well he better be here soon because we don't want to be late."

"He will and where's your boyfriend?"
