Chapter 15

Jacob's P.O.V

I finally landed in Quillayute, Washington. It felt weird being back since I was gone for so long. The weather was cloudy and rainy when I looked out the window. I would have to adjust to this weather since I've been in sunny Hawaii. I got off the plane with my bag and headed over to the baggage claim to get my bags. As I waited for my suitcase, I called dad to let him know I was here.

"Hello." I said.

"Hey, son." Dad said.

"Are you here? I'm grabbing my suitcase."

"Yeah see you when you come out."

"OK."

"Bye."

"Bye."

I hung up and put my phone in my pocket. Suddenly my suitcase came and I picked it up and set it on the ground. I grabbed my bag and headed outside. As I headed outside the sliding doors opened and I felt the cold breeze touch my uncovered skin. I was not cold because I was a werewolf and always hot. I headed to his car, he unlocked the doors, and I put my suitcase and bag in the trunk. I closed the door then headed to the passenger seat and got in. I closed the door behind me and buckled up.

"Hey again, son." Dad said.

"Hey, dad." I said.

"Your skin looks tanner than the last time I saw you."

I looked down at my skin and I noticed my russet skin has gotten even tanner.

"Yeah, I was in the sun a lot." I replied.

"I bet." Dad said.

Dad pulled out of the picked and dropped off lane and headed out of the airport.

Bella's P.O.V

I could not wait to see Jacob. I was waiting to see him for so long. I just wanted to wrap my arms around him and kiss him.

"Hey, hey girl, hey!" A girl yelled.

She snapped her fingers and clapped her hands to wake me up from my day dreaming about him and got back to reality, and she sat next to me.

"Hey girl, you need to stop day dreaming about him and get back to reality." Kendra said.

"Sorry Kendra." I said.

Kendra was my roommate. I met her last night when she came in late to unpack.

"It's okay, so what is so great about this guy that you keep daydreaming about?" Kendra asked.

"Well, there is a lot of great things about him. He's sweet, caring, and protective." I replied.

"Ooh, how protective?"

"Like really protective. He doesn't like me around other guys."

"Oh, so he's like the possessive type."

"Yeah, you could say that."

Her eyebrows lifted, and she nodded her head.

"Is he hot?" Kendra asked.

"Kendra!" I yelled.

I nudged her to the side of the bed.

"Is he?" Kendra asked.

"Um yeah." I replied.

I blushed a little bit and I moved my head away so she would not notice.

"What does he look like?" Kendra asked.

"Well, he has russet skin." I replied.

"Ooh."

"He's very muscular and has dark brown eyes and black shaggy hair."
