Chapter 17

Bella's P.O.V

The next morning I woke up in Jacob's arms with my head still on his chest. I looked down and realized he was still asleep. He was so cute when he sleeps. He was like a little kid again. I leaned down and kissed his cheek. Suddenly his eyes opened and I could see his beautiful dark brown eyes. He looked up at me as his arm moved away from being around me.

"Good morning." I said in a soft tone.

"Good morning, Bells." Jacob said.

I got up off the bed, walked over to my shirt, and put on my t-shirt. Then walked over to my dresser and got out a pair of underwear and put it on. Then I walked back to the bed and sat beside him.

"How long was I asleep?" Jacob asked.

"Not long I just woke up." I replied.

He wrapped his arms behind his head.

"Were you observing me while I was sleeping?" Jacob asked.

"No, you had me locked into your side where I couldn't even move." I replied looking down at him.

"Oh, sorry I just wanted nothing to happen to you."

"Cute but I'm safe here."

"Hum, I don't know. There are people here that could be crazy and can hurt you."

"Like who?"

"I don't know. That guy you hung around with."

"You mean Chase?"

"Yeah."

"Jacob he's not bad he's actually really nice to me."

"How, I saw him around others girls on campus. He's using you."

"Wait, you were stalking him?"

"No, yesterday I saw him with another girl when I got here anyways, can't you see he's using you so that he can get to you."

Jacob got up off the bed and looked at me.

"What's wrong?" Jacob asked.

"Nothing I just thought he was different." I replied looking at my hands.

"Well, you thought wrong."

"So what is he anyways?"

"He's a player. Didn't you see him with the other girls?"

"No, but he was checking me out yesterday with my friend."

"Well, they pretend to care for girls when actually they just want sex with you."

I did not speak for a second. I was too upset. I couldn't believe he was using me. Maybe that could explain the dream I had. Maybe somehow made me dream about me and him having sex so that I would have sex with him in real life.

"Bells, are you sure you're not alright?" Jacob asked.

I think it was time to tell him what happened at Chase's house. I had to tell him about my dream.

"Jacob, I have to tell you something." I said.

"What is it?" Jacob asked.

"It's something that happened on the beach."

"Please tell me you didn't..."

"N...no that's not it. I had a dream about Chase and we had..."

"What?"

"I know. It was weird and I have a feeling he caused it."

Jacob's mood changed, and he was not calm anymore he was angry. He was shaking and his heart was racing. I grabbed his hand and tried to calm him down.

"Jacob calm down please." I said rubbing his hand.

His heart rate slowed down and stopped shaking. I just realized that I can calm Jacob down. Maybe it was because I was his girlfriend.

"How did you do that?" Jacob asked looked down at me.

"I don't know I just rubbed your hands." I replied.

"I think it's the imprinting thing."

"Maybe."

I looked over at the clock and realized it is a quarter to eight. Crap, I got out of bed and got fully dressed for school. Jacob got dressed too in his clothes from yesterday. I walked over to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror doing my hair. I part my hair a certain way moving my hair to the right side of my neck and clipped a hair clip in the back of my hair. As I did that, I realized that in the mirror Jacob was right behind me.

"You startled me." I said.

"Sorry." Jacob said leaning down toward my neck.

He moved his lips to my neck and kissed it softly. I moaned a little bit and I turned around and looked at him. I could not help it. His face was inches from mine. I had to kiss him. I grabbed his face and pulled his face close to mine. He leaned down to kiss me and I smashed my lips to his. He wrapped his hands around my waist and he pulled me closer to him. I moved my arms around his neck and kissed him passionately. After a minute, I tried to pull away, but I was glued to him. He kissed me more. I moved my hands through his hair and pulled him closer to me. Suddenly he pulled away to take a breath and smiled.

"I love you so much." Jacob said.

"I love you more." I said pulling him closer to me and kissing him again.

I pulled away to observed his face.

"I'm coming back later. I want to meet the guy." Jacob said.

"Jake you don't have to do that." I said.

"Yes, I do. I have to protect you."

"Alright but only come around after one."

"Alright."

I gave him a peck on the lips, moved away from him, and walked to my room. He walked out the door and I finished getting ready for school.
