Chapter 29

Jacob's P.O.V

After I left Bella, I shifted into my wolf and ran into the forest to meet both Embry and Paul since we were afternoons. When I got to them, I spoke in our mind link.

"So they are back?" I asked.

"Yes." Embry replied. "We tracked them on the west border." Paul said.

"Let's go then." I said.

I ran, and they followed me through the woods. As we ran I sniffed the air trying to catch the familiar scent.

"How far did you say it was?" I asked.

"Pretty far." Embry replied.

We kept running for five minutes until I got a scent. I stopped and shifted back into my human form and grabbed some shorts behind the tree. I then got dressed and walked closer to the vampires.

"Ahem!" I yelled.

The family of vampires that were talking turned around and looked at us. I looked and saw the father and mother who seemed like they stopped aging in their 50's. The mom had long brown hair. The young son appeared in his twenties has brown hair like his father. Last, the daughter had blond hair and also looked in her twenties. I noticed in all their eyes that they all were like the Cullens who had yellow eyes. I sighed. That made it so much easier so that I wouldn't have to worry about them eating anyone. They all smiled at us.

"Oh, look what we have here, three boys running around the with no shirts on." The young boy smirked.

"Son please be nice. Sorry about his attitude. Anyways you guys shouldn't be running around without any clothes on. You guys can catch a cold." The mother said.

I scoffed.

"I'm fine. Thanks anyways." I said with a smirk.

"I don't think they know who we are." I said.

"Same." Paul and Embry said.

"What is that awful smell?" The blond girl asked.

"That's us. We are werewolves, and this side is my pack's territory." I growled.

"Wait, what do you mean territory?" The father asked.

"We live in packs, and this side of town is my pack's territory."

"Why?"

"To prevent you bloodsuckers from entering our territory."

"Oh, we are so sorry we were just passing through because we bought a home a little way from here. We hope it doesn't interfere with your territory arrangements." The father said.

"I hope not. Now tell me. Where is this house? We will need to make arrangements."

"It's a couple of blocks down from this other house. We heard that there was another family of vampires like us living near so we thought of building our own."

I sighed. Great more vampires I have to deal with.

"Alright since you live close to the Cullen's, your territory arrangements are just like theirs. If you have any questions, ask them. Also to let you know the river, you will see when you cross is the border to the other side so do not cross back to our side or we will attack. Do you understand." I said.

"Yeah, thanks for letting us know about this." The father said.

I nodded, and we took off.

Bella's P.O.V

This whole afternoon, I just chill. Also, my cravings had increased, and I've wanted the weirdest things lately. Right now I just want ice cream and olives which is funny, but I don't care. I walked to the kitchen and made me a cup of vanilla ice cream and sliced up some olives and put them in my ice cream. I then took a bite and moaned at the taste. God this taste so good. Suddenly, I heard the doorbell ring, and I set my dish down on the counter and went answer the door. I opened the door to see Jacob.
