Chapter 8

Bella's P.O.V

We finally arrived in Jacksonville Florida and we were on the way home.

"So sweetie we are finally here." Mom said.

"It's beautiful here." I said.

"Yeah, I thought you would love it. We will get to do lots of fun stuff."

"OK."

"So where did you say where your house is?"

"It's on the beach you'll love it. The house is away from Jacksonville."

"What is the town?"

"It's called Ponte Vedra Beach."

"OK."

"Phil is so excited to see you he wants to know all about your new boyfriend."

"OK, so how long does it to take to get there?"

"It's about forty-three minutes. We will make it to Ponte Vedra Beach in 28 minutes."

"OK."

As we drove through Jacksonville, it was very beautiful. I saw so many cities everywhere.

"We will get to come down here for a day and stuff. I have much to show you." Mom said.

After we drove through Jacksonville, we got to the end and we merged on Ponte Vedra heading down to Palm Valley. It was beautiful I also saw the ocean from afar. I saw little beaches also from far away. It was very busy. Not like the beaches in Forks or in La Push.

"I will love walking down here. It looks so nice." I said.

"I bet you will, sweetie." Mom said.

It was about the same time to get there as getting out of Jacksonville. It is like so tiring to be in the car for like so long. I felt a little carsick now and then.

"Don't get sick sweetie we are almost there." Mom said.

"OK. How long?" I asked.

"Ten minutes."

I looked up and saw little houses. There were no neighborhoods more like on the road.

"Are those the houses you're staying in?" I asked pointing out the window.

"Yes." Mom replied.

I looked to see what street we were on it said S Ponte Venda Blvd.

"I thought we would be somewhere big." I said.

"This is all we could find for rent for a cheap price." Mom said.

"Oh."

Jacob's P.O.V

We were about two hours from landing and it was morning due to the time change since it was daytime in Florida where Bella was. I texted Bella to make sure she got there safe.

Bella- I am five minutes away from the house. It is so beautiful here I wish you could be here with me.

I- I wish I were there with you.

Bella- Well text you later love you.

I- Love you, too.

Bella- Bye.

I- Bye.

I put my phone away and Emma was looking at me.

"What?" I asked with a curious look.

"Nothing." Emma said smiling.

"I love her you know. I would do anything to see her if I can, and after this trip, I'm heading home and going right to her in Florida."

"Oh, good luck with that."

Bella's P.O.V

We got to the house and pulled in by another house. The house was light blue and a little gate to it. Phil came out to help get the bags inside. I got out of the car and he saw me and smiled.

"Wow, you look older since the last time I saw you. Come give me a hug." Phil said.

I walked over to him and gave him a hug.

"How are you and how was school in Forks?" Phil asked.

"It was good." I replied.

"That's good let's get your bags in and I'll make dinner for you two."

"OK."

I grabbed my bag and he and mom brought my bags in and my suitcase.

"Hey mom, is the truck going to meet us in Tallahassee?" I asked.

"Yes so don't worry about your other stuff."

"OK."

I headed through the gate and when I opened the door, I saw blue everywhere it was kind of freaky cause the house was blue too. Mom walked in behind me.

"Wow, the house is blue." I said.

"I know the house came like this. So do you want a bunk bed or a queen size bed?" Mom asked.

"I'll take the queen."

"OK."

I followed her down to a hall then she turned right where I saw a bathroom then a room next to it a bedroom that is also blue with a blue and purple bedspread.

"Wow, the bedroom is also blue." I said.

"Yeah." Mom replied.

I set my bag on my bed and mom set my bathroom stuff in the bathroom. Suddenly Phil walked in with my suitcases and set it against the wall.

"So are you fine here? Sorry if the house is a little too much." Phil said.

"No, it's great thanks." I said.

"I hope the cabinet is okay for you to hang up stuff. Sorry, there is no closet."

"It's okay I'm only staying for a little while."

"Oh we didn't tell you on the holidays, Charlie and I made a deal that you will stay with me during the holidays and during the summer for your fours years you're going to Forks to stay with your dad."

"Oh."

"Yeah, are you fine with that?"

"Yeah, but if I'm staying for the holidays Jacob gets to visit."

"I don't know Bella. Phil and I talked since and we don't know if we want him here."

"What, why not?"

"Well one, you guys are together and two, we...."

"Mom we will not do anything. If we were we will wait."

"Hum okay. Are you fine with that Phil?"

"I guess so but he's staying in the room next door." Phil said.

"OK." I said.

"Great well get unpacked. Like I said I'm making dinner."

"OK."

They walked out of my room and I walked over to my bag and opened it. I saw my laptop and I got it out. I opened it up and set it on my bed. Maybe I should Skype Jacob when he got to Hawaii. I opened my suitcase and unpacked.
