Friday"Can we talk?"
Felix felt his nerves jolt throughout his entire body at those words. He felt that this would be a repeat of yesterday.
"Are you gonna tell me to go cry to Hyunjin again? Or call me a liar? Because I'll just excuse myself now if that's—"
"Felix, I'm sorry."
The brunette looked up from the ground and folded his arms anxiously. An apology was the last thing he was expecting at this point.
"I am... so, so sorry, Felix. I've been such a shitty friend to you and lashed out when I shouldn't have. I should've just listened because you were right about Hyunjin and you deserve to be happy with whoever you want and Minho finally knocked it into my stupid head that I was being selfish and not considering both sides and—"
Jisung's frantic ramble was cut short by the pair of arms wrapping around himself quickly.
Once he processed that it was Felix, he instantly hugged back as they began to bawl into each other's shoulder, letting out any and all of the strong emotions from this past week.
"I'm so sorry, Felix." Jisung sobbed, making Felix smile slightly through his tears. He pulled back and held his best friends face, facing their tear stained faces towards each other.
"What are you sorry for, Ji? You had every reason—"
"No, no I didn't, Lix. I was wrong in so many ways. I was such a horrible friend and you didn't deserve a single one of those horrible words I gave you." Jisung stopped to catch a breath between his sobbing words.
"I'm so sorry I wasn't a supportive best friend when you needed me to be and held you back from pursuing someone you love and—"
"Jisung, it's okay. You acted in the moment and it's over. We're okay. I would never leave you over a stupid argument." Felix smiled, his tears slowly drying.
The older one sniffled and wiped his nose with the back of his hand, making the brunette chortle.
"So, you don't hate me? We're still friends?" Jisung worriedly asked."I could never hate you, Ji. No matter all of the stupid fights we ever have, you are my rock." Felix replied as he pulled the both of them into another hug, simply happy to just have his best friend back.
"I love you, Felix. I'm so sorry."
"I love you so much more, Sung. You are the reason I am who I am today. I could never stay upset with you."
Jisung tightened their hug, insanely grateful for how calm Felix is about this entire thing. He truly did feel awful for what he's done, but Felix's naturally good-natured heart accepted his apology in an instant. He was fully expecting Felix to tell him that it was over.
"I-I hate to interrupt, but I would suggest to two come inside so the Dean doesn't question why there are two of you alone out here and not at one of the school lounge spots." Mrs. Choi's voice appeared in a soft, gentle manner. Both males looked behind Felix to see her peering her head out from behind the classroom door.
Felix smiled at her and nodded. "We'll be there in a second."
The teacher smiled and nodded before closing the door once more.
