Even though our lives and homes were quite different before you were born, I knew we would become great friends.
I had a lot of gaps in my life before you were born.
You had gorgeous brown hair and golden oak eyes, and I could always tell when your hands were holding my finger that everything would be okay.
As soon as I laid eyes on you, I knew I would protect you and love you forever.
You are my first love, the reason I breathe, and the one who kept me alive.
Your heart is made of gold.
You and I may have different lives, but you will always be my best friend
