Being the CEO of an entertainment company wasn't the easiest.

Yet, Noh Ji Hu made it look easy.

Perhaps it was Madam Ju's money. Perhaps it was sheer dumb luck. Or it was just the Mirae Group influence that made Mirae Entertainment skyrocket. Whatever the case was, Noh Ji Hu was quite the talk of the town. In more ways than one.

When the news of Noh Ji Hu broke, almost two decades ago, the Mirae Group had some major damage control when it came to Madam Ju's husband's affair. Nothing prepared Madam Ju Cheon Suk for her late husband's infidelity and affair child, but unlike what the public assumed would happen, Madam Ju took in Ji Hu, raising her as her own daughter, despite the pleas from her two older children, and the board. Ji Hu was crowned a member of the Noh family, and future inheritor of Madam Ju's fortune and the entirety of the Mirae Group.

The news that Ji Hu was accepted into the family, with the idea of a future inherence, the city of Seoul went into an uproar. Yet, two decades later, Ji Hu was more than given the title of "The Entertainment Angel" or just "The Angel," but Ji Hu had made two names for herself.

One as Noh Ji Hu, the daughter of Noh Sang Woo, stepdaughter of Ju Cheon Suk, CEO and owner of Mirae Entertainment.

Another as JiJi, an influential model with hundreds of brand deals under her belt and adored by the general public.

Ji Hu admired her brand-new manicure for tonight's event. Sat beside her was her fateful manager and COO of Mirae Entertainment, Yoo Seong Min. Yoo Seong Min was looking at his phone, answering a couple of emails and texts messages from the board about the next meeting. Ji Hu sat idly, just patiently waiting for the limo to arrive at the location of tonight's award ceremony.

Now, Ji Hu wasn't nominated or getting an award tonight, however, Ji Hu wanted to be present to see someone she considered a sister get the top award tonight. Ji Hu was always supportive of her family, despite their hatred for her. But the person that was getting honored tonight was one of Ji Hu's best friends, Do Do Hee, CEO of Mirae F&B. Ji Hu was excited for Do Hee tonight, getting the top award at the Korea CEO Awards.

"You have three interviews tomorrow," Seong Min reminded. "Please drink responsibly or go for the non-alcohol option."

Ji Hu lowered her hand to her lap, resting her freshly manicured fingers against the black dress. Ji Hu understood where Seong Min was coming from, the last time Ji Hu had a few drinks, the press was all over her, calling her a party animal, a black-out drunk, a whore dancing on counter tops.

The last one happened once.

Yet, the press never let her live it down.

"Do I need to remind you; tonight is free publicity for everyone who attends?" Ji Hu turned her head slowly towards Seong Min. "You better be passing out those business cards to everyone who stops to speak to you or I." Ji Hu commented.

Seong Min Kept his eye roll to himself. "We did not have to attend,"

"No," Ji Hu agreed. CEOs from across Seoul were invited to tonight's award ceremony, big or small, corporate or small business. Award ceremonies like tonight's, was basically passing out business cards and making connections. Ji Hu had no desire to speak or interact with anyone, she just wanted to support Do Hee. "But dear oppa and unnie are unable to make it tonight. Someone from the family should be there tonight." A smirk appeared on Ji Hu's face.
