Ji Hu went to bed that night with Gu Won's necklace on. She wasn't expecting much out of the necklace. She didn't know what she was going to learn from it. Ji Hu didn't expect to be filled in on Gu Won's entire past life – and several other things. What Ji Hu learned from the "dream" was that she wasn't Wolsim, she didn't know how to feel about that considering the Wolsim that Gu Won fell in love with looked identical to Do Hee. Ji Hu wasn't sure how she fit in until she realized how she fit in. There was a reason why her nickname was "Angel".
Ji Hu fell for Gu Won back when he was a human, but she wasn't. There was no way for her to confess her feelings or act upon them. Ji Hu was basically invisible to Gu Won and Wolsim, so Ji Hu used her powers as an angel to push Wolsim and Yi Sun together, not realizing the ideals of Yi Sun's world. Someone like Wolsim wasn't welcome to practice Christianity.
Ji Hu hadn't realized and by the time she realized, she watched Wolsim get killed and Y Sun took his own life. Ji Hu begged God to give both of them a second chance, telling her that she'd give up on being an angel to let them find each other in the next life. Ultimately, Ji Hu did it herself – giving up on her own powers in order to attempt to right things. However, doing so, Ji Hu changed her own fate.
Ji Hu's eyes flew open, sitting up in her bed. Her hand went to the cross necklace around her neck. She was breathing heavily, going over the vivid memories that filled that necklace. Ji Hu looked down at the cross charm. Ji Hu's mind was going wild; she didn't know how to feel. If Ji Hu didn't go home that night, would Gu Won have fallen for Do Hee or still her?
That didn't really matter, because Ji Hu knew her past feelings for Yi Sun. And Gu Won fell for her, not Do Hee. Maybe all that had to happen in order for Ji Hu to see the other side of things. Gu Won was a demon now and Ji Hu was human – maybe it was meant to happen that way. God worked in mysterious ways.
As Ji Hu stared at the necklace, a thought popped into her head. "What if he's there?"
Ji Hu got dressed quickly, hurrying downstairs. She slipped her arms into her leather jacket as she ran to her car. Ji Hu climbed in, going to start the car. She stopped short upon seeing the shotgun sitting in her passenger seat. Ji Hu didn't have time to scream, a cloth was placed over her mouth and nose. She struggled against the person in the backseat, trying to push the cloth off her face.
Ji Hu reached into the pocket of her jeans, pressing her finger against the power button. She looked back into the backseat to see who was trying to knock her out. Ji Hu felt her head starting to feel fuzzy.
Seong Min was driving down to get his morning coffee when he got the emergency message from Ji Hu. He dialed Ji Hu's number as he pulled to the side of the road. He brought the phone to his ear, but the call just rang and rang and rang. Seong Min called her again before pulling away to head towards her apartment.
Seong Min didn't care if he was currently speeding. Ji Hu needed him right now, no matter the emergency, Seong Min would drop everything to get to her. Seong Min pulled into the parking lot of Ji Hu's apartment. He slammed on the brakes upon seeing her car. Two of the doors were wide open and her phone was ringing next to the car. Seong Min jumped out of his car, not caring if he left it running. "Ji Hu!" He shouted. "Ji Hu!"

Ji Hu went to move her hand, only to feel the other move with it. Ji Hu scrunched up her face as she started to come to. As her eyes opened, she saw the rope around her wrists. Ji Hu woke up fully upon seeing that, looking around wildly. She didn't know where she was or what she was doing there. As Ji Hu looked around, she froze when she saw someone standing in front of a fire in a trash can. He turned slowly, making Ji Hu press herself up against the couch she was dropped onto.
