Ki Hwan and the girls were frantically trying to deal with the influx of calls from reports about what happened to Ji Hu last night. Here were reports all around the building, waiting for JiJi to show her face. Seong Min came out of his office after hearing the constant ringing phones. He walked over to the plug, unplugging the landlines. Suddenly, the room went completely silent as the employees and interns looked in his direction. "Stop wasting your energy and time on unreasonable requests and get back to work." Seong Min said.
Ki Hwan nodded slowly as Seong Min headed back into his office, finally getting a little bit of quiet. As soon as he entered the office, using the back way to avoid getting questions asked of him, the phones were ringing off the hook. The employees had a hard time getting into work due to all the reporters and Seong Min called the trainees, telling them they had the next few days off, so they didn't get into the crossfires.
Seong Min sat at his desk, turning in the chair so it faced the glass windows. He stared outside at the world, sighing heavily. He rubbed at his face – all the reports were of Ji Hu being up there when Seok Min took his life. Everyone wanted to know why she was up there and if she knew why Seok Min ultimately took his life. Seong Min knew the truth through Gu Won about what happened.
Seong Min wished that he knew that Ji Hu went to Seok Min's, he would have gone with her.
He told Ji Hu she didn't have to go to work today, he'd handle everything, but she said she couldn't sit around her apartment. The reporters were all over the place, no matter what happened. Ji Hu had Gu Won, she could appear in the elevator and get to work without issue. Which was exactly what she did. She was currently in her office, working silently.
All her gigs were cancelled for the time being, so she was working on articles for the newly debuted group. Ji Hu was holding on, but Seong Min knew she would break eventually. As she worked, Gu Won was attempting to distract her. Seong Min could see into Ji Hu's office from where he was sitting. Gu Won was truly trying to cheer up Ji Hu. There were short periods where Ji Hu would smile, but then she'd go straight back to work.
No matter what Gu Won did, Ji Hu was distracting herself with work.
Seong Min grabbed his phone off the desk when he got a text message. He looked at the message, rolling his eyes. He tapped on the message, only to tap on the call button. He brought the phone to his ear. "Please tell me you didn't pay too much for that, Ms. Shin."
"I will not answer that question."
"Ji Hu doesn't need a talisman to protect her." Seong Min pinched the bridge of his nose. "You forget, she's got Gu Won." Seong Min was brought up to speed of who knew that Gu Won was a demon. Finding out Ms. Shin knew that Gu Won was a demon was a shock, and Ji Hu refused to go into more details as to how she knew.
"With everything going on, I just thought that something a little extra couldn't hurt." Ms. Shin commented.
"How's Do Hee?"
Ms. Shin sighed. "Distracting herself. She's been in her office all day. I had to unplug the phones just to stop the ringing." Ms. Shin complained.
"Me too."
Ms. Shin cleared her throat, lowering her voice. "Are you going to tell me why Mrs. Noh was up there with Mr. Noh?" Ms. Shin asked.
Seong Min nodded. "How much time do you have to talk?"
