As Ji Hu changed, Ms. Shin was going over the things that were new for Ji Hu. She would be getting a new phone since her phone was on in police custody as evidence about the other taxi driver's death to prove Ji Hu booked that specific car. Ji Hu was only half-listening to Ms. Shin as she continued with the notes that she and Seong Min thought of while Ji Hu was out cold for over five and a half hours.
Thankfully, Do Hee brought a fresh set of clothes from Ji Hu's apartment. Again, Ji Hu's clothes were now in evidence to try and get a fingerprint or a hair from the murderer. Ji Hu was dressed a little fancier than she would normally be, Do Hee definitely had to search her closet for the clothes that would suit leaving through the back door of the hospital.
"Are you listening?" Ms. Shin asked.
"No."
Seong Min snickered as he entered the room with a bag. "At least she honest with you, Ms. Shin."
"You enable this."
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
Ji Hu tuned out Ms. Shin and Seong Min's spat. She was thinking about Gu Won, which was a bad idea, but she had so many questions. Like how he just happened to be at the restaurant, eating alone and how did he happened to be on the same road that Ji Hu was. "This can't be a coincidence." Ji Hu said as she pulled up the sleeve of the blouse, covering up the cross tattoo.
With Ji Hu's talking, Ms. Shin and Seong Min stopped their bickering.
"Yeah, I'm certain of that. It was..." Ji Hu sighed, unable to think of the word.
"Fate?" Ms. Shin suggested.
Ji Hu looked into the mirror, looking Ms. Shin in the eyes. "My, Ms. Shin," Ji Hu smirked playfully. "I didn't know you were so romantic." Ji Hu teased.
"My apologies for being romantic." Ji Hu rolled her eyes, shaking heavily.
"This is why I like Seong Min." Ji Hu said. Ms. Shin glared as Ji Hu finished fixing her sleeves. "Besides, I think he was just there. He had to be." Ji Hu added.
Do Hee finished up an email on her phone. "He doesn't seem like the type to just hang around coastal roads like that, unnie. And I don't think his skin has seen the sun." Do Hee placed her arms on her legs. "Are you sure he's just not a vampire?" She questioned.
Seong Min rolled his eyes. "Do Hee, vampires don't exist."
"Aliens do, why can't vampires?"
"You-"
"He wanted to strike a deal with me last night." Ji Hu interrupted, stopping the conversation about Gu Won being a vampire. After last night, seeing his red eyes, Do Hee wasn't too far off. "He literally going on about a deal when I was about to die. How fucking crazy is that?" Ji Hu turned away from the mirror, heading to the bed.
"What could it be about to go to such lengths?" Ms. Shin questioned.
Ji Hu shrugged. "Whatever the deal was, I didn't take it in the end. I highly doubt it is worth my time or the time of the Mirae Group, not that the Group would invest into his foundation anyway." Ji Hu grabbed the jacket that was hanging off the edge of the bed. "But it's the fact he's being so persistent and sly..."
"Sounds like he just trying to make a quick deal, unnie." Do Hee said as she stood up from the chair. "I wouldn't go through with it, if he brings it up again."
