Ji Hu had an iced coffee in hand as she entered the building. That morning, she had driven herself to work, parking in her parking spot and stopped by the local coffee shop before heading to her office for the day. She had a modeling gig in the afternoon, but as of 6:30 that morning, Ji Hu pulled out after finding out what the photographer was like. She didn't want to be associated with somebody who was homophobic.
His Instagram was filled with hurtful and hateful comments, Ji Hu refused to work with him.
For once, Ji Hu had a free afternoon after her three interviews in the morning.
Ji Hu could in the elevator, looking at her phone at a few emails that were CCed to her. Ji Hu had background checks complete on the interviewees, making sure they were people that Ji Hu wanted to employ or sign to the company. Ji Hu could already see that one wasn't going to get past the second interview with the background check.
Ji Hu barely looked up from her phone as she climbed off the elevator. "Good morning, Ms. Noh." Ji Hu acknowledged the employees who greeted her that morning. Normally, Ji Hu was interactive with her employees, but today, Ji Hu had a few pressing matters that needed her in front of the computer, speaking to Seong Min and Ki Hwan.
"Whoever's seen Ki Hwan, tell him to be in my office in twenty minutes." Ji Hu brought the phone to her ear, calling Seong Min. "Did you open the CCed emails?" Ji Hu asked.
"Yes,"
"Looks like somebody lied about their past history." Ji Hu said as she entered her office, closing the door behind her. She put the call on speaker as she walked around her office. "I think we'll be hiring Lim Ki Hwan at the end of his internship." Ji Hu said, placing both hands onto the desk as she looked down at her phone.
"Sounds like a solid plan." Seong Min said as he idly tapped his fingers against the steering wheel. "What would you like me to do? I can inform security to keep Lee from entering the office." Seong Min suggested.
Ji Hu thought for a moment. "Not yet. But have security on high alert if things go south with the interview."
"You still want to go through with the interview?"
A smirk appeared on Ji Hu's lips. "Of course. What kind of CEO would I be if I didn't?" she asked innocently. "Besides, we can't let them know that we do background checks before the hiring process." Ji Hu added.
Seong Min chuckled to himself. "If you say so, I'll call In Tak and inform him to send three of his best upstairs and have them hang around." Seong Min informed Ji Hu. "And what is this about cancelling with the photographer?" He asked.
"I don't work with homophobic assholes." Ji Hu grabbed her iced coffee. "Ki Hwan texted me last night after I went to bed with the photographer's personal Instagram. I will not work with an asshole like that." Ji Hu said as she sipped the iced coffee.
Seong Min nodded once. "I will be arriving in five minutes. The first interviewee will be arriving at 9:30." Seong Min reminded her.
"You woke up late."
"Had to make a few phone calls this morning," Ji Hu knew there was a smirk on Seong Min's face. "Gotta have everything in order for my new car." Seong Min stated.
"You had to win."
"What can I say, Ji Hu, you just gotta do better next time."
"I'll see you when you get here." Ji Hu hung up on her manager, hearing him laugh at her abrupt end of the call. Ji Hu texted Ms. Shin about arranging the delivery of Seong Min's new car by the end of the workday today.
