Ji Hu flipped through the channels, looking for something to watch for the evening. However, her mind was filled with Gu Won. He looked so conflicted outside of her apartment and after their dance. Ji Hu knew how she felt, even though she was going to deny it until the end of time. But what was Gu Won's problem?
Ji Hu went to message Sa Rang, but she saw the note on her phone about the blind date tomorrow. Ji Hu sighed – she couldn't sit on this all night, she had to find out why Gu Won was acting like that. All night, he was holding her wrist, attempting to recharge himself, but the moment their dance was over, he was like a whole other person.
Ji Hu arrived to Sunwol Foundation, not knowing what she'd find. Ji Hu paid the driver before climbing out of the taxi. She looked up at the large building, wondering what traditional things ran at the foundation.
When Ji Hu entered, there was this wave of familiarity.
She had never been there before – maybe it was just from Ki Hwan research that was coming back to her. She read those files back-to-back several times over since meeting Gu Won. Ji Hu walked up the spiral, heading off to Gu Won's office. Ji Hu was taking a look at the art and the pictures hanging on the wall in passing. She was impressed by the collection that Gu Won had collected over the years.
Ji Hu knew that seeing Gu Won this late at night would either be a good thing or a bad thing. She wasn't quite sure what kind of mood he'd be in, but she was definitely curious to find out what happened tonight. As Ji Hu walked, she stopped in front of a painting. Ji Hu stopped because... she felt like she had a connection to it.
It was a painting of two women doing sword dancing. It was quite the art form, so Ji Hu had been told. She had only seen it briefly for an event in Japan when she was younger, but Ji Hu was escorted out before she could see the rest of the show. Ji Hu stared at the painting for a long time, longer than probably necessary.
Out of the corner of Ji Hu's eye, she saw someone coming up behind her. Ji Hu turned around suddenly, armed with the pepper spray gun. There was a woman behind her holding one of those prop swords for a performance. She was pointing it directly at Ji Hu.
"Who are you?" Ji Hu asked.
"What about you? Are you a thief?" The young woman asked.
Ji Hu gave her a once over. "Says the woman holding the sword and wearing all black." Ji Hu pointed out.
"You don't look all that ordinary yourself." The woman said after looking over herself.
Ji Hu hesitated before lowering the pepper spray gun. "It's just pepper spray." She quickly placed it back into her bag for safe keeping. Ji Hu wasn't sure what else to say to this woman, she looked to work at the foundation – she had every right to question why Ji Hu was there.
The woman took a look at Ji Hu. "Noh Ji Hu?"
Ji Hu looked back at the woman. "You know me?" She questioned.
"You don't know me?"
Ji Hu shook her head slowly. "Am I supposed to?"
"I can't believe you don't recognize Star Jin." Star Jin commented, looking away from Ji Hu like that was supposed to do something.
Ji Hu raised an eyebrow. "Unless you're in the modeling world or the CEO world, I don't know you, sorry." Ji Hu said honestly, shrugging her shoulders. Star Jin didn't seem to like that comment.
