Ji Hu made her way into the kitchen for her morning tea. She saw Gu Won standing there, hiding away his pain meds. "Are you okay?" Ji Hu asked when he dropped his hand from his chest where his wound was. "Are you in pain?" She questioned. Maybe last night's interrupted recharge was a bad idea, but Ji Hu truly couldn't sleep.

Gu Won shook his head with a smile. "I'm fine."

"Did you take the painkillers?"

"I don't need them." Gu Won said, hiding the medication behind his back. "I feel great because I've been charging up." Ji Hu gave him a skeptical look. "We should get ready for work." Gu Won moved around Ji Hu, hiding the pill bottle behind his back. Ji Hu watched him carefully. She knew he was lying to her, but she wouldn't be able to get it out of him that he was hurting.

Ji Hu decided to just let Gu Won do what he wanted, there was no point in trying to stop him.

Gu Won walked next to Ji Hu as they entered the building. However, they were stopped by Do Kyung. Ji Hu kept her distance from her nephew – after what happened last time, Ji Hu was going to be extra cautious with her family members. Do Kyung was actually there to speak to Gu Won of all people. "I heard you got hurt. I saw on the news that someone attacked you." Do Kyung said.

"Don't believe everything you see on the news. They even accused an innocent person of murder." Gu Won said.

"Let's just go inside."

"Run away if you want to live." Do Kyung said. Ji Hu kept her back to Do Kyung. Gu Won turned back around to face Do Kyung. "Everyone by Noh Ji Hu's side ends up dying." It was Ji Hu's time to turn to look at her nephew. She couldn't believe what she was hearing come out of his mouth.

"Should I beat him up?" Gu Won asked.

Ji Hu chuckled. "Even I could beat him to a pulp, Gu Won. Don't mind him." Ji Hu stated.

Ji Hu took her normal seat next to Do Hee, Gu Won stood behind her in the board room. Ji Hu kept her eyes down onto her lap. She didn't dare look her siblings in the eyes conisdering they thought they had won the war. Ji Hu had something up her sleeves. On Ji Hu's right was the empty seat that belonged to Seok Hoon. Today's meeting was one he'd be missing, for obvious reasons.

"Let us begin the special board meeting." Ji Hu glanced over to Seok Hoon's seat. Outside of Do Hee, he was the only one person on her side. "Today, we will take a nomination vote for the next chairperson of Mirae Group."

"I'd like to say something first," Ji Hu announced.

"Each candidate will get a chance to make a speech later."

"It's an important matter related to the vote; I promise." Ji Hu said.

"All right, go ahead."

Ji Hu glanced over at her siblings before she stood up. "To prevent any further conflicts and disputes, I hereby withdraw my candidacy." Ji Hu said.

Do Hee's eyes widened. "What are you doing?" She whispered. Do Hee looked back at Gu Won, seeing his reaction to the news.

"What on earth is she playing at now?" Su Ahn asked.

Gu Won got up, turning Ji Hu. "We need to talk."

"Later." Ji Hu said, turning back to the board. Ji Hu knew what she was doing – there was a reason why Seok Hoon wasn't there today. Ji Hu spoke to him last night, telling him her plan. Ji Hu couldn't risk it anymore – especially with Do Kyung's words in the lobby.
