                              Local Mall
                              Chloe
                                So we're here in the mall. Again. On another date.
                                Not that I minded, but some originality could be nice.
                                I took another lick of my vanilla cone, the sweet icy flavour coating my tongue. I personally preferred popsicles, but proper ice cream could work too. We were having a nice time though, walking side by side and hand in hand. It was a Saturday so the shops were pretty crowded, but I didn't really mind.
                                It was still nice.
                                I looked up at him, his blue eyes meeting mine as he smiled. I thought back to our conversation, we agreed to be more honest with each other, yet he still wouldn't tell me who he was meeting up with.
                                So much for honesty.
                                I peeked up at him through my eyelashes, the glint of the gemstone on the dagger catching my eye. It really was very pretty... I wonder if the 'friend' he had got it with was the same as the one he's been meeting up with...
                                I tried to ignore the squeeze of jealousy around my heart.
                                "Chloe, you okay?" I must have been making a weird face. I looked up at him and grinned, my skin heating up as he wrapped an arm around my shoulders and pulled me closer to him. He was really hot, both literally and metaphorically.
                                I wondered what we looked like to other people, just another couple in love perhaps?
                                "Hey can we stop in there?" I pointed at a cute little boutique about ten or so feet away. Dante just raised his eyebrows and smirked-not a Riley smirk but a cute kind of smirk with a raised eyebrow and an mischievous glint in his eye. He pressed a hand to his chest and groaned, slowly turning to look at me before nodding dramatically.
                                Stupid boy could be an actor...
                                I rolled my eyes and grabbed his hand, dragging him over to the store without a second's hesitation. Once inside I set him free, fully expecting him to go over to the 'male's seating area' and wait for me to finish up. Instead, he stuck at my side and occasionally pulled some pretty shirts and dresses from the racks.
                                He was perfect.
                                At one point I pulled him to stand outside the fitting rooms, darting inside to shimmy into the utterly gorgeous blue dress that I had found as quickly as possible.
                                I really appreciated the way his jaw dropped when I came out...
                                "Woah Chlo, you look good," he grinned-I tried not to read too deep into that expression in fear I might see any inappropriate notions-rubbing at his eyes and staring at me.
                                "Think so?" I was teasing and he knew it.
                                "Know so."
                              ~~~-*-~~~
                                The cheesecake in front of us looked heavenly. It was light and fluffy with sweetness glistening along the top, I probably could have scarfed one down all by myself if I hadn't eaten that ice cream earlier on. I raised my fork and stuck it into the cake, breaking off a large chunk of it and stuffing it into my mouth.
                                Oh good gods.
                                "This is fantastic!" I savoured the taste of the cake in my mouth, eyes closing to further enjoy the sensations. I heard Dante laugh but I didn't move a muscle, the flavour of the cheese and cream still lingering on my tastebuds.
