~Shi Qingxuan~

The moment he had opened his studio requests poured in.

He had opened up the studio along with Ban Yu. They both had done their degrees in event management and fulfilling a childhood promise they worked hard over the 2 years to open up the studio.

He did have one back in Japan but it was a trial and had become quite sucessful, Ban Yu seemed to have done business of her own and had made wonderful connections hence the huge among of requests.

"A birthday party?" Ban Yu read aloud from her monitor.

"What do you say?" Shi Qingxuan asked, he was busy getting to know all the venues around the city and finding good contacts for resources.

"I'm fine with anything as long as your comfortable, start with something big or small?"

"Highest pay"

That was enough.

After a day long work they they had finally decided on a marriage after party event.

"It's been so long since we did work together" Ban Yu said as they drove home.

Shi Qingxuan looked wistfully as he remembered high school memories.

"The last time we worked was for the play wasn't it?"

Shi Qingxuan's hand clutched the staring wheel. He didn't stay around to see the end of the drama and the promise of going out the weekend for clothes shopping with Ban Yu was not fulfilled aswell.

"Yes..." Shi Qingxuan said.

"You didn't see the drama did you? I asked Pei Xu to send it to you but I bet he forgot"

Shi Qingxuan let out a weak chuckle ad he pulled outside Ban Yu's house.

"Let's watch it together once we are done with our first event management plan" Ban Yu said before she walked out.

Shi Qingxuan wanted to dismiss the idea but his curiosity overrode his discomfort.

"Sure, tell auntie and uncle I asked about them"

Ban Yu smiled and waved goodbye as she walked into the house.

The moment he reached home Shi Qingxuan collapsed on the bed. It was a huge day, the first day of their official work.

The house was very quiet. Growing up he had loved with his family and then with his roommate, in Japan his parents had enrolled him in a school with dorms do he had a roommate there too.

During university he lived in an apartment with his friend (whom he had met in Japan).

He thought about getting a pet but the poor thing would die with his constant morning absence which sometimes stretched to the night.

The next day Ban Yu dragged him to meet their client.

She was a good natured lady who was so excited to marry her highschool sweetheart.

"I want it to be magical!" She said "the start to the end, afterll you only marry once".

Looking at her all excited increased his own spirits and they quickly started making plans.

The lady was very impressed with them and suggested they take care of the whole wedding venue too.

"We would but that's too much" Ban Yu politely rejected "It's our first event you see..."

After much talk they exited, to their surprise the sun was already dipping down in the west.

"Ahhhhhh that took forever! We can't even drink till we are done" Ban Yu whined

"Let's just go have some spicy pork belly" Shi Qingxuan said searching up restaurants nearby.

Ban Yu jumped on the offer and quickly suggested all the good restaurants she knew when someone interrupted them.

"Shi Qingxuan? You are Shi Qingxuan right? Long time no see! And Ban Yu is here too! What a coincidence!"

Shi Qingxuan momentarily froze and then turned to face the familiar cheerful voice.

There stood Wang Duji far more prettier older and mature his hands laced with Yu Yanzi who looked impeccable in his leather jacket.

The later looked like he was about to go for a bike racing competition his ears were now filled with piercings and he even had a lip piercing.

Damn was the only thing Shi Qingxuan could think.
