"Yuze...." Shi Qingxuan's voice sounded weak and exhausted.

He Yuze had come to like Shi Qingxuan after a lot of combined effort and convincing that he was not indeed stealing his father.

And today was a very important day, Yuze's 7th birthday.

Shi Qingxuan and Ban Yu had put a lot of work into it, the party was small with Yuze's insistence, he only wanted 4 of his friends there Hua Muchen, Feng Yongwu and Hua Binghe.

And at the present moment Yuze had locked himself in his room because Muchen and Binghe had pulled a prank right before his birthday party.

The prank didn't seem that harmless and first, the duo had colluded and acted as if He Yuze did not exist.

They had acted like they couldn't see him even though Yuze stood right in front of him and mourned his absence in a very exaggerated manner.

They had ropped in Yongwu who usually seemed rational and ignored him the whole day, after coming back from school Yuze had locked himself up and wouldn't let anyone in.

As Shi Qingxuan stood outside the younger's door he could here sniffling and muffled sobs. He had told He Xuan not to come but now he regretted not letting the former tag along.

He was just about to knock again when he saw two younger boys walking towards him He Xuan following them looking stone faced.

"Hello mister" one of the boy's said, his manner was a reflection of Hua Cheng which almost made him feel sorry for Xie Lian.

"They say they want to apologize, Xie Lian is in the drawing room with Binghe, he is crying" He Xuan said as he registered Shi Qingxuan's puzzled expression.

"I dont think he would want to see you" Shi Qingxuan said pointedly at Muchen.

He knew Muchen for 2 years now, and his way of apologizing didn't feel apologetic at all. He rather made it sound like he was the victim in the situation he created.

"Please Mister Shi, I'll make sure he does it right" Younwu said his eyes shining with determination.

"Alright" Shi Qingxuan said skeptical, the children wanted them to leave so the duo walked away but stayed close enough to hear what was going to happen.

"Yuze?" Muchen called with his voice laced with immense casualty "I'm sorry kay? We didn't know you would get this affected"

Silence.

Shi Qingxuan face palmed as Yongwu hit the back of Muchen's head.

"OW! What was that FOR?" He snapped.

Yongwu didn't say anything as he turned towards the door and spilled a apology which sounded more genuine and emotional.

"I know you would not want to see us so we will leave" Yongwu finally finished as he dragged Muchen away.

Only after they left did Yuze open his door, Shi Qingxuan and He Xuan walked towards the now ajar door and peeped in to see the younger on the bed hugging his plushie.

"So..." Shi Qingxuan asked sitting at the edge of his bed.

Yuze looked up at the two, he did not say anything for a long time,

"I guess Youngwu and Binghe are fine, Muchen can rot"

On a normal day Shi Qingxuan would have been concerned about Muchen but right now he was happy to see Yuze's mood lifting up.

The birthday party was amazing.

Everything went as plan other then Yuze ignoring Muchen's existence while the later roamed around clueless saying he had apologised and wondered what the problem was.

"He will never learn will he?" Yongwu said as he watched Muchen still following Yuze trying to talk to him (He tried to trip him many times too). He then turned to Binghe who looked at them his eyes troubled.

"Don't become like your elder brother Binghe" He said patting his head, "I wonder how long this will last...."
