"This again?"

Sebastian didn't react—save for his little smirk curled up on his lips.

"This...again.." Sebastian mocked, "What do you want me to say? You're my mate."

Keira shook her head, "Satyr, we don't do mates here."

"Oh? I am pretty sure you do, little weed," he said, "Esther?"

"She was a part of the prophecy!"

"And you are a part of mine."

"You're sick."

"But you want me," Sebastian teased, "Oh, the things I would do to that pretty pink pussy of yours...I am sure you haven't been worn out just yet."

"Oh, you are..."

"Just like you? Yes, I know and that makes it all better," Sebastian smiled, "You're a naughty little thing, aren't you? Sneaking out of your parent's house when you were a teenager to meet up with the boys? Fiddling around with the dark arts when you were a tot? Having a man at such a young age...I could go on.."

"Don't let him get to you!" Ruth called, "He's trying to lure you in."

"You are like me, dandelion..I am yours..."

"Why?" Keira asked, curiously, "You think you know me? You don't. I don't need this bullshit. I've got too much going on. Are you going to leave?"

Sebastian shook his head, "Not unless you come with me."

"Not happening."

"Then I shall remain stuck here until you come to your senses."

Keira huffed and walked back to her coven.

Ruth was in a frenzy.

"What does he want?"

Keira shook her head and shrugged.

"He said he wants me."

"For what?" Frances asked.

Keira smiled, "Take a guess."

Frances blushed, "Oh..Wait...why?"

"I don't know. He claims I'm his mate, but he's not proven anything to me and I will consult the oracles about this madness."

Ruth leaned into her ear, "He knows a lot about you."

Keira sighed. That he did...But how?

"Maybe he's been watching you," Frances offered.

"Since I was born?"

"Well..yeah.." Ruth said, "But he's a satyr. He's going to make up stories to get to you. Remember what Devonia said..don't be a hero."

Sebastian and his men were still standing in the same spot when Keira walked passed to connect with the oracles.

"Oh, gods, I could watch you all night long, Keira.."

Keira rolled her eyes and disappeared into the forest.

She sat cross-legged on a large stump and began to call the gods, the oracles, anyone who could give her insight.

Ruth and Frances were still binding the satyrs when Keira came rushing out of the forest.

"Keira!"Ruth called as she watch her coven sister grab the reigns to a nearby carriage, "Keira, where are you going?"

"I must get back to Devonia!" Keira said, "Do not let them go!"

Sebastian yawned, "See something you didn't want to see, dandelion?"

"Fuck you!" Keira called as she rode away, leaving her group behind.

Back in the village, she told Devonia of her visions.

"I've never heard of a satyr king.." Devonia shrugged, "Are you certain?"

Keira nodded, "Yes...he keeps saying I am his mate—I am his..all of this malarkey, but the oracles showed me that..."

Devonia shook her head, "It could be a trap—dark arts. You say he knew a lot about you?"

"Almost everything..even what I looked like underneath my clothing.." Keira said, "He's been this way since we met."

Devonia sighed, "What would you have us do, Josette?"

Josette looked to Keira, "This seems very suspicious, but what if you humored him?"

"What? How?"

"Go back with him. They only leave passed Golden Top,"Josette told her, "We'd be scouting the place at all times."

"But he wants me... to..."

Devonia chuckled, lighting her pipe.

"Please don't tell me you haven't thought of him at least once since you've met him, dearie," she cackled, "He's one hell of a man..."

Keira narrowed her eyes, "I am not his mate."

Josette nodded, "Go with him..it'll get him out of our hair. In fact, take Otis with you."

Otis, Keira's familiar—an orange tabby—sashayed by them,

"But what if.."

"He will let you go, my dear," Devonia said, "We will see to that."

Keira scoffed, "I thought I wasn't supposed to be playing hero."

Josette smiled, "Well, plans have changed. You have a month—he won't try anything. He wants you to like him and fall under his spell—do not allow it. You're a headstrong woman. I am surprised he's not have incubus with the way he's been trying to seduce you with his charms."

"That's what it feels like!"Keira said as she packed her belongings, "A month?"

"Yes, we'll go with you to discuss a trade—one of theirs for you."

Keira couldn't believe this was happening, but she was going to save her people and her forest no matter what.

Returning back to the spot, Devonia laid out the ground rules, but it was as if Sebastian cared not. He handed over one of his men for Keira who watched him become unbound and reach out for her.

She stared at his hand as if it was a snake.

"Let me escort you to our ride, Keira," Sebastian offered, "It's the least I can do."

Keira waltzed passed him.

"I can fucking walk on my own, thank you very much."

Sebastian smiled as she walked to his carriage and stood next to it, not even glancing up at him when he appeared next to her.

"You're a stubborn girl."

"You're an asshole."

"I will have you by morning."

Keira thought about what Josette and Devonia had said and decided to play the game.

"Of course you will...my King."
