Keira and the Satyr's Seduction

Sunrise

"I can plant a garden here," Keirasaid as they watched the sun rise in the early morning hours, "Andyou can bring us food."

"Can't we just make food?"Sebastian laughed, "Like use our powers somehow?"

"You know I've been drained the lastfew days, darling," she yawned, "Emmett is a real kicker."

"I think he kicked me in the spinelast night when you were trying to spoon me."

"I was trying to spoon you? I am thelittle spoon, though."

"I said you were trying, my deardandelion. There's no way around you wanting my heat."

"I can't deny it," Keira smiled,"Anyway, I think the garden for herbs is fantastic here and thebarrier allows us to be able to grab the wildebeests and other straysif we're fast enough."

"I will provide for you," Sebastiansaid, "Forever."

Keira nodded as they watched some ofthe birds and other wildlings outside of the barrier pay them nomind.

"I wish Vera knew how much I missedher," Keira said of her familiar.

"I am sure she is being taken careof, Keira," Sebastian assured her, "We left her with my familyand your sisters to provide for her. Hell, a toad has her very ownbedroom in our house."

Keira laughed, "As she should."

"I loved it when you read to the babylast night," Sebastian told her, "It was heartfelt."

"Oh, I talk to him all of the time,"Keira said, "He can't talk back, obviously, but I feel him—heknows us."

"Even me?"

"Even you," she said, "Heactually enjoys it when you talk to him and when you're with me. Heknows that we're...that you're...he feels so connected."

"We do have a deep bond, Keira."

"I know.." Keira agreed, "I haveknown that for a long time now."

"Have you?"

His frustration with her wasn't anexcuse to be cruel, but he prayed to the gods she'd love himeventually.

Keira didn't answer as she measured outhow much of the yard she wanted to use for the garden.

"I saw Esther in my dreams again. Wehave to be on high alert at all times, husband," she said, rubbingher belly, "I know you're very vigilant—especially now that I amsleeping a lot more."

"What was she doing this time?"

"Calling me again—trying toenchant...calling on everything to get us back to the Realm."

"And the others?"

"They weren't there, but I could feelthem," Keira said as Sebastian led her around to the side of thecottage, "How could this place be so wonderful?"

"You recall what Malcolm said. It'sjust like the Shadow Realm, but evil."

"There's evil up there, too."

Keira nodded, "I know. Your hag isall I think about sometimes."

"We'll find her."

Keira knew that Malcolm was also on thelookout for the hag and would stop by every few days to give details.

"It's weird how this place isbeautiful. I had only heard of how many levels there are. I thinkwe're in the sister level of our Realm," Keira said, "It lookslike it..except it's got it's oddities."

"Like the weird weather?"

"I can't believe we were juststanding there and all of a sudden a rainstorm hit."

"I..was glad it was with you,"Keira said, "I'm glad you're my mate and the father of my child."

Sebastian smiled. It was sort of rarewhen Keira to speak to him like that.

She was never cruel—she just..

"What's that?"

"What's what?"

"Over there! Can't you see it?!"

Sebastian narrowed his eyes and lookedto the woods behind their cottage. Keira was too fast for him and sheran straight to the end of their yard—smashing into the invisiblebarrier and flying backwards.

Sebastian caught her and held herclose, "What are you seeing?!"

"I am seeing Esther! Devonia!"

"I cannot see them!"

"They're right there!" Keira cried,pointing to the edge of the forest, "They're right there!"

Sebastian could not see what his matecould and he wondered if the solitude was getting to her.

"Dandelion, let's go in and get readyfor the day, yes?"

"They're...they were right there.."

Keira sobbed as she allowed Sebastianto carry her into their home, Emmett dancing happily inside of herbelly.
