Sebastian watched her sleep as Keira leaned against the door, her body turned to face him.
He'd positioned her in his lap at first to cradle her while she slept, but Keira had moved sometime during their journey. What a fine mate she was going to be and a wonderful queen to their people.
Sebastian knew she was scared—even if she didn't want to show it. She was a fighter and a rebel, just like he was, but she was faced with troubles of her own.
And now? Now he was one of her troubles.
"Sebastian.." her voice soothed him, but why was she talking about him in her sleep?
Keira was jostled out of her slumber by the carriage rolling over some rocky terrain. She stretched and sat up, her yawn was absolutely adorable to Sebastian.
"Hello, my weed."
"Hello, my worst nightmare."
"Oh, that mouth.." Sebastian chuckled, "I am so very interested in what it can do besides insult me."
"I can spit," Keira chirped, looking out the window, "Are we almost there?"
"Yes, little weed, we're almost there," Sebastian told her, "You will be staying with me and tomorrow we will meet with my family."
Keira smiled back at him, "Family?"
Sebastian nodded, "I do have one, yes."
Keira looked out the window again and watched the rain pelt the ground. She hadn't forgotten what he'd done to her the night before and she was so very excited to do it again, but she didn't show him.
Sebastian moved closer to her and she couldn't go any further unless she wanted to tumble out of the carriage.
"Don't fear me, dandelion," he rasped, "I won't hurt you, but I won't guarantee that you'll be able to help yourself when it comes to my come-ons."
Keira blushed, pushing her thighs together and pretending she hadn't heard him.
"That's alright, Keira," Sebastian laughed, "I will be filling this pussy with my cock soon and filling your belly with babies."
Keira didn't goad him. She was too busy acting as if he wasn't making her loins quiver.
"Silence?" Sebastian sighed, "Darling, I love the sound of your voice."
Keira bit her bottom lip. She was a talker and Sebastian knew that—of course it would take every ounce of her willpower not to speak to him.
"Alright then," Sebastian sighed and sat back, "You don't have to talk to me if you've nothing to say. I won't force you into anything."
"But you did force me. How was I to know you wouldn't really harm my people? I had to go with you!"
Sebastian frowned, "I'm sure it feels that way, but you'll change your mind once,-"
"What? What is it?!" Keira looked around as Sebastian put his finger to his lips.
"Hold on," he whispered as the carriage stopped, "I'm sure you know that smell."
"Succubi.." Keira shivered, "And hags? Of course they'd be working together."
"Kristoff will see if we can pass," Sebastian assured her, "If not, be ready to fight, my little dandelion."
"And if I don't?"
Sebastian chuckled, "Well, I know you love to fight, but if,-"
The carriage began to shake violently as Sebastian's body convulsed in the seat.
Keira straddled his lap and forced him to look at her, "Sebastian! Stop...they're trying to lure you in! Don't let them.."
Chanting, Keira closed her eyes and leaned forward, placing her forehead against Sebastian's as his body calmed down and her calming spell eased him—or so she thought.
Grabbing the back of her head, Sebastian pulled Keira in, smashing her lips with his. At first, Keira struggled to get free, then she melted into his touch, but anger swept over her.
"You asshole!" Keira scurried off of the satyr and looked outside of the carriage to see the succubi and hags simply setting up camp and moving out of the way of their caravan, "You fucking twat! You lying bastard!"
Sebastian laughed, "I know you can come up with better insults than that, but now that I see you do hold some sort of feelings for me,-"
"I absolutely do not! I don't hate you, either, so I don't like to see innocent people suffer," Keira huffed as she opened the door of the carriage and stepped out, "I can't stand your face!"
Sebastian got out of the carriage and hurried after her when Keira took off into the woods.
"Come back here, woman! You don't want to go into these woods alone!"
"I don't give a shit!" Keira called back, picking up her pace, "Just let me be! I need a moment!"
Sebastian caught up to her as the succubi and hags cackled at the little dramatic spectacle playing out before them.
"You're a roaring little witch, Keira," Sebastian said as he caught up to her, "What the hell are you doing?"
"What does it look like? I'm climbing this tree," Keira began her ascent to the top of the old tree while Sebastian watched from below.
He watched as she made it all the way to the top and sighed. He knew how stubborn she was, and he'd been wrong to prank her.
"Keira! Come down, please! I am sorry," Sebastian told her, "Keira?!"
He heard the distinct sound of wings—the fluttering, the swooping, the pace..
"KEIRA!"
Sebastian watched as the dragon came face to face with his little dandelion as Keira tried to descend again. Losing her footing, Keira came tumbling down from atop the tree, but before she hit the ground, Sebastian caught her—staring up at the dragon who was now summoning to his brethren who were circling the satyr's caravan.
Keira eyed the dragons and sighed.
"Is this what you wanted, satyr? Do you always like to play with fire?"
